Ok, seems like rumours are in order. . . isn't it a bit suspicious that quite many information have 'leaked' since the announcement of the work on a new album? I really doubt Chris would be so open and even careless about the information pertaining to LP6 when it is only in its infancy. Even if what he said were true, that doesn't mean they'll go back to their roots or anything.

Even if they already had a batch of songs in their mind, they could easily be scratched at some point and they'd start all over again. Anything's possible,yeah, but the most realistic thinking is that the new album won't come that soon after MX. The point of the whole story is that they're not quitting yet, I think, not that we will have the album this Christmas.
