If you read the link for the auction for the site i think it said it was 200 a month for the servers and the graph shows that in total with advertising it was -26 dollars for one of the months.

If you purchase from target you get 3 extra tracks, I'm guessing they are probably live editions of 3 songs. most likely from the itunes festival.

Agreed, I use reddit we need to have a counter like that. If CPing stays alive, to keep up with operating cost we need to have some kind of subscription service, if you pay 3 dollars a month you get X,X,X features. This would cover operating costs and would keep the servers up. Or we can have a reddit gold type system, if someone makes a really good comment give them a CP Butterfly, this would cost what maybe 3 dollars? and gives them a month subscription to CPing gold edition, access to special part of the forum and so on, this could also contain the best tabs for all the songs for us musicians, could contain special created Wallpapers that could be updated every month or so, also the people with the CP Butterfly are put first in line for the giveaways like the spare LRLRLR thread. Also remove ads if they buy this CP Butterfly/month subscription. This would help with operating cost and possibly a little more revenue on top. Also to cut costs remove the sub sections like: Technologalicized, entertainment and arts and news and sports to cut down the costs of keeping those up. I'm sure those are cheap but every bit counts. Edit: We could also do a monthly raffle system with whatever money is left over if the CPing gold edition thing works and give people who have it an extra 5 raffle entries? something small like under 25 dollars for the item, it would be a good way to raise money for the sight even if its small.

We could start something like a indiegogo to save the website but then you'd still have to find someone to run it.

It would almost be a good idea if we could get together some dedicated users, and possibly all chip in and run the site, personally I would chip in to keep the site going.

I hope they don't do what they did with MX they played every song live before the album came out and left us with no surprises, I think the only ones they didn't play before release was UFO and Up with the birds? (I'm excluding intros) I want there to be a surprise with the next album and since we already almost heard a 1/3rd of them I don't want to hear much more.

A surface tablet! I know people are pro-apple these days but I find that with a tablet I want to be productive (sorry apple fans I don't find the iPad to be productive) I am very happy with this purchase so far!
