Coldplaying user created band?
I havent mentioned that I'm also playing the drums, but I'm not such a really good drummer. But after I saw that we only got 1 drummer, I thought I should mention it :D

Coldplaying user created band?
Isn't this the same as the idea I had a few months ago? I guess it failed because no one knew what to do next. So, don't make this mistake again :D I could do some guitar stuff (acoustic and/or electric) and bass, if theres no one else to play bass.

Small-diaphragm microphones for guitar/drum overhead
Hey there, I'm looking for some good but not expensive Small-diaphragm microphones. I want to use them for acoustic guitars or as drum overheads. I actually have no clue about diaphragm-mics and so I thought I'll ask here. Can anybody recommend some manufacters or models? I found the AKG C1000S, which seems to be a good choice but I'm not sure about this. Cheers, approx

Vote for Coldplay - MTV Musical March Madness (SECOND ROUND! Coheed & Cambria vs. Coldplay)
Tokio Hotel fans are almost all about 12-17 years old (truth, no joke). I guess they don't really have something to work after school and because they love the band (I don't believe that they seriously love their music because it's simply shit) they vote for them all day and night long, which is impossible for most of us because we have other things to do than to win such a competition.

Vote for Coldplay - MTV Musical March Madness (SECOND ROUND! Coheed & Cambria vs. Coldplay)
Truly said, this was so obvious. The voting system they are using is pretty simple. I have to admit that I also wrote a bot for this, but I didn't use it (and I won't). If we lose, we can at least say that all good bands lost this game. :D (Mumford & Sons, Arcade Fire, Muse, Kings Of Leon, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foster The People, Foo Fighters, U2, Black Keys). Even Radiohead seems to lose against Fucked Up - dafuq?

Vote for Coldplay - MTV Musical March Madness (SECOND ROUND! Coheed & Cambria vs. Coldplay)
I looked over into their forum, though they require a singup to look into that thread, and saw that there are not many people participating. It may change, but I think this is a clear thing.

Vote for Coldplay - MTV Musical March Madness (SECOND ROUND! Coheed & Cambria vs. Coldplay)
Pearl Jam lost vs. Modest Mouse (whoever that is) Foo Fighters lost vs. James Durbin (whoever that is) This shit is f*cked up. Edit: I just voted a few times for Coldplay until I got blocked and each of my votes actually changed the result at least +0.03% for Coldplay. I guess that there are just a few votes total yet, which means that each vote counts a bit more. If we get over 50% early enough, it will be harder for them to beat us.

They'll probably block your IP address and set a cookie or something. I bet you could "unblock" yourself by deleting your cookies and restarting your router (you'll get a new IP then). By the way, Coldplay currently have 50.08% :D

God Put A Smile Upon Your Face Bass Tab
Someone already did. At least, you could have searched on ultimate guitar, the version posted their sounds pretty good to me. http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/c/coldplay/god_put_a_smile_upon_your_face_btab.htm

Coldplay inspired song.
I totally agree with Faede. Nothing to do here.

Logic Pro?
For myself, I have never worked with Logic before, but it seems to be a pretty good choice. Other software I could recommend would be Cubase or Melodyne. Melodyne has this really epic feature called Direct Note Access, which allows you to do some really cool things. Hope my answer does help at least a bit.

God Put A Smile Upon Your Face Chords (Viva-Era Live)
Has anyone ever figured out what Chris plays in God Put A Smile Upon Your Face during the Viva-Era (the "remix"-song). I've figured out so many songs now but I really can't get trough this one. Is there anyone who could help? Thanks!

[22-Sep-2012] Coldplay @ AWD Arena, Hannover, Germany

Rehab (organ cover)
Chris' covers before Fix You always start and end with Eb, so that it fits with Fix You (at least with this one, why does it always rain on me and what a wonderful world). This is probably not the answer you we're looking for, but you should learn how to play Fix You - then you can play almost all the cool things Chris plays right before Fix You ;)

Princess Of China Acoustic Cover (Guitar, Piano)
Great cover! I see some of the chords I posted in the other thread and they sound right, so I assume I'm not so bad :D

[4-Jun-2012] Coldplay @ Emirates Stadium, London, UK
Got 4 tickets for pitch standing, unfortunately ALL of my friends declined. Is there anyone from Germany who would like to go to this concert with me? :)

Princess of China Acoustic chords
I agree, the EADGBD tuning sounds better to me, too. Thanks sheryar90! Swiffy22: I think he plays the C-chord like this: C 5,3,5,0,5,0 (I have no idea what this chord is called, but it sounds right to me and it also looks right to me) At least, I got the complete thing until the Rihanna part including the interludes between the chords. (I think it's pretty hard to play but it sounds good to me)

Princess of China Acoustic chords
First of all: Welcome aboard the coldplaying-family! :) If you watch [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPjR-sg1Fl0]this video[/ame] with 720p, you will see that the capo is on the 5th fret, as dm120 mentioned earlier. I'm also sure his chords aren't wrong, but I'm sure they're not complete.

Princess of China Acoustic chords
I'd say he plays Em, G, Am, Am and then Em, G, Am, Am for the first two verses. Then the bridge or whatever where he adds some sounds, I don't have all of them but for the Em it's on the 4th and 2th fret of the B-string. (try it out, you will hear what I mean) He then plays some variations of the chords, I couldn't figure them out yet. (all capo related) This part seems pretty hard to play. I was thinking of a different tuning (tried it out in an Open Em), it works and is easier to play but definetely not the way Chris plays it. Edit: After hearing it a second time with much better quality, I'm pretty sure that; He plays these chords like this during the chorus,you-stole-my-star-part and the part between the two verses: G 3,5,5,4,3,0 C 3,3,2,0,1,0 D 5,5,4,0,3,0 The variations he plays during the second verse are probably something like this: Em 0,7,9,0,8,0 G 3,5,0,0,5,5 C 5,3,5,0,5,0 (though the two above are not the real ones Chris plays, this one is)

Official Guitar Tunings for Mylo Xyloto
I'm pretty sure that there is no capo on major minus and for charlie brown you have to tune it down a semitone - and THAT is the way chris plays it. (Compare with live videos)

Songs of the Year 2011 - Results Thread
I'm probably not getting the joke-thing. Or it's just not funny to me.
