  1. Definitely. Although, anyone really will do.
  2. We'll agree to disagree, but ultimately, they need to enlist a good producer on the next album.
  3. I feel like I should do it as a fan, if I have the time. I once listened to Parachutes start to finish, all the way up to Mylo Xyloto, start to finish, in one sitting. I hate X&Y, and it's disappointing but it only made Viva more enjoyable. (Added you on Last.fm!) What gets me more than anything about the album is the lack of effort. No ambition to really push themselves, it's just lazy songwriting and for me, Panic Station epitomises that. An album mostly made of first drafts that they didn't bother editing or polishing for the sake of "rawness", maybe, or maybe because they think they're the greatest band in the world and they can shit out masterpieces.
  4. As we were discussing guest stars, Andrew Garfield of the Social Network and the Amazing Spiderman was in series four, during a Dalek episode. How weird.
  5. For two anniversaries before, they've actually introduced new enemies.
  6. I think it's horrible. Still not the worst song on that album, but dreadful all the same.
  7. I just think it's sad that a band as talented as them are settling on making common-denominator stadium rock, rather than pushing themselves. They owe me nothing though, you're right. Everything is taste-dictated, but I wouldn't say The 2nd Law's been a massive hit with fans. All I was trying to say was that I expect so much more from them, and that's why The 2nd Law's been such a disappointment. Once again though, seems like people think I'm walking round with the words "My opinion is gospel" on my head.
  8. I bet you can't, cheeky But really, Moffat's already proved me right.
  9. There's specific tastes and then there's Panic Station.
  10. I loved Muse up until the release of The 2nd Law, then felt utterly let down big time. Half the disdain I show towards them now is simply for letting me down.
  11. I thought it was absolutely dreadful, and for that man to still sing Rock and Roll Star, and then sing a song he hates by a man he hates just for publicity, was nothing more than hypocritical. Sorry, just saw that I missed the discussion about their Olympics contribution and thought it needed to be said. The man was a channel for Noel's genius, and should not have been celebrated for being such.
  12. The Doctor's still hers. :P I think when the Doctor said "Let's find out who you are" to Clara in the trailer, he wasn't so much suggesting that she was someone he knows. I think he was just trying to find out what the connection between the two of them was.
  13. People keep making this comment about the intimacy of a gig, and how impersonal Live 2012 is, when let's face it, Coldplay are maybe the only band in the world that play a gig of that magnitude and yet still feel like they're singing to you and you alone. Live 2012 has more variety to it, a stronger setlist and shows the band at the very peak of their live powers, for me. Would've liked Warning Sign from the Emirates (in the rain), or Don't Panic from the O2 (Johnny singing) on there, but that's just personal preference. I'm sure those preferences would have the same effect on some people as Moses and See You Soon have on me :\
  14. Can't wait for River to meet Clara. :sneaky:
  15. How could Muse have beaten everyone below them
  16. Seriously, why do we use spoilers? Does anyone actually ignore something if it has a spoiler?
  17. I did say, but no one believed me til I posted up the actual link.
  18. This isn't the right answer I'm afraid, I'm almost certain of it.
  19. As he said though, the guy's a dick. I didn't say to split them up, I said, make her realise he's a dick by being so nice. It's like, if someone listened to Nickleback, they're never going to listen if you go "Your taste in music is shit". And if they were like "You're right, I'll listen to your music" you wouldn't have much respect for their convictions. But show them your eclectic, varied, colourful taste in music, open their eyes to a wondrous new world of possibility, and all you're doing is opening doors, not pushing people out of windows. You get me?
  20. Make her feel special. Bitches love feeling special. Then she'll realise that her boyfriend doesn't make her feel special. Just make her feel more special than the other guy does. And don't worry about bros before hos. If you love her, it's every man for himself. Don't try and split them up though, just show her what she's missing. And if it's meant to be, she'll see that you're the guy for her.
  21. Mumford and Sons in the top 5? That's like beige being voted the third greatest colour ever. :\
