  1. When you can't interrupt a Coldplay song. I stay in the car until it ends. LOL
  2. I don't know that much about them to jump to such conclusion. My impressions are based solely on what Gwyneth says about her family in public and she says quite the opposite about her husband.
  3. No it's not finished yet. I'm going to try and find out when it's over. I'm thinking since this is for the whole 2011, it might go all the way through December, but I'm not sure.
  4. I was tempted to do the same but I'm afraid of karma. LOL I think the reason Chris has over 400 votes but tied with this guy is b/c some people gave him a low score:angry::angry: We just have to keep giving Chris 5 stars every single day until the contest closes. I have no doubt we'll prevail.
  5. You're no help! LOL We'll stick with she will not stay away from her children for too long. Also, except for the 1 gig at Today on NBC on 10/21, everything else is in Europe for the rest of the year so far. So the boys will have plenty of time at home.
  6. What do you make of her not having a carry-on baggage in that picture? Cameron is definitely leaving for a long time while Gwynnie is just making a quick trip? LOL I'm desperate!:D
  7.:cry: These 2 are killing me. Perhaps he's going to take over the babysitting and carpool duties while she tends to some business? I'm sure she'll be back home soon.
  8. I'm full of joy that Chris is on his way home to his wife and family as we speak, if he hasn't already made it there. If it's wrong to post so in a Gwyneth's thread on coldplaying.com, I'm sure those in charge will let me know. It's not up to another poster to tell me what I should post here.
  9. Thx for your opinion but I didn't want to carry on in private with someone I don't get along with. I've already asked her to ignore me and she will not. I'll post my thoughts within the rules of the boards. If I'm wrong, I'm sure the mods will let me know. It's not up to her to tell me how I should post and where.
  10. Removed by mod
  11. It looks like it was in his hotel room?
  12. OMG! Jonathan Rhys Meyers in now at 4.5 with 270 votes:angry:
  13. No they cannot. We're the best! LOL
  14. Your point is very well taken! Believe me when I say that the fact that the venue was FNB stadium in Soweto, SA didn't help matters. It's not something that Coldplay sound techs could just twist and solve in 1 sound check.
  15. True! I hope Mr. Meyers will fizzle away pretty soon, just like the others. LOL
  16. Me too! I heard, Debs, Happy Bday Debs.
  17. Oh my! Is this the world famous Debs Wild? You got pretty good taste in bands, girl! I'm glad you knew Coldplay were good from day 1. Happy belated birthday! You share it with my nephew Chris. And my own son Albert is 16 today. :)
  18. Beautiful! I'm glad you had a wonderful time. Yes these 2 concerts must have been huge for many music lovers in SA.
  19. This is the 2nd time you've called my opinion, based on my life experience, stupid. That doesn't sit well with me. You might be a nice person, I do not know you, but you don't come across as such. How many stadium events have you attended on the African continent? I attend quite a few every year. If you think that a stadium in Soweto, SA, has the same sound installations as Wembley or MSG, then there isn't much you and I can discuss. My reality is quite different. To say that Coldplay sound people could have twisted and tweeked the problems in 1 or even 2 soundchecks is both simplistic and naive. Just so you know, you don't have to defend SA from me. The whole continent is part of who I am. But I'm also honest. So if that makes me stupid in your eyes, so be it! http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/Sound-problems-delay-rally-20110501
  20. http://www.sofeminine.co.uk/competitions-freebies/100-hottest-men/?photo=13120 I don't understand how Chrissy went from 4.6 to 4.5 with more votes. Please make sure you're only giving him 5 stars. Chris has a new challenger in Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Irish actor, King Henry VII, 263 votes, yet a score of 4.4 while Chris has a whopping 422 votes but only a score of 4.5.
  21. "When you're not as attractive as Beyoncé you got to do what you can ... I swear this boy has a crush on Beyonce. LOL
  22. I don't disagree that they should apologise if there were still sound issues. But I believe it's the organisers responsibility to make sure the venue has the tools to accommodate the bands they invite. I know South Africa is the most developed of all African Nations but it is still a 1/3 world country (and before anyone jumps on me for saying so, I'm African by origins, and I've lived in those conditions). You have to ask yourself why there were no sound issues in Japan, Australia, USA, Brazil, etc.
