Nice but I was expecting the song to burst into a bigger climax and it was only repetition for me and the potential of the first seconds was lost for me. For me it's 5/10. Weird cover of a Marvin Gaye gong. I know some people will hate this because it is weird and completely different from the original. But I really into weird covers of famous songs LOL. PS : The animation LOL. It's so bad that turns to be good.

I'm looking forward to Sunday Coldplay and Beck performances and I'm very hyped about it. But I have to say Friday is the best day of the festival for me, the line-up is the strongest of this year festival. Muse, Editors, Sigur Ros, The Lumineers and other really good stuff on it. Off course If I had the opportunity to go on one day I would choose Sunday because it's Coldplay +Glastonbury the perfect festival marriage, but Friday has a better overall line-up in my opinion.

I guess they're choosing the most requested ones. I doubt that the obscure songs are more requested than the singles (like In My Place, Trouble etc) or the one's from MX. Coldplay is too popular, each album they released they got more and more new fans that are not too familiar with their entire discography ( B- sides included). I think they are very aware of that. So this means they're trying to please more people as possible. The majority of their fans have heard In My Place before and only a few have heard Prospekt March for example. At the Maracanã concert very few people knew Parachutes and A Message ( and I was front row). But when the gig was coming to an end everyone was screaming for In My Place. That doesn't mean they could not surprise us later on. I mean Chris play Twisted Logic for the first time live this year and it's even on their official youtube channel so I think they are aware of the hardcore fans too. I agreed they are choosing the ones that are easy to play acoustic. So we have to be smart with ours request. I still have hope for Ghost Story (never played live) , Strawberry Swing, Prospekt March, We Never Change, Bigger Stronger etc. But I think for the most part they will stick to their formula. A least they are changing the setlist adding LIJ and See You Soon so everything's not lost.

Thanks for the thread and the videos Mexima!!! In My Place, Shiver, The Hardest Part, were the requested songs for two times during the tour. This songs were on and off their setlist (not as the requested songs) during this tour: Politik, Army Of One, Till Kingdom Come, Ink, Don't Panic,See You Soon, Shiver, Speed Of Sound and Parachutes. * Twisted Logic was played for the first time but was only Chris and not on tour. The covers we had so far : Raspberry Berret, Johnny B. Good, Heroes, Life On Mars (Chris only), Ring Of Fire, Live Forever.

I think I heard about it. There was the MITB briefcase incident too. Really unfortunately to heard this things. Maybe that's why they changed his entrance. Wrestling crowds are very hostile with the performers sometimes but as you said when things get physical is really a problem for everyone. It's sad. Just because you paid for it doesn't mean you allowed to do everything that comes to your mind. Nice to meet a Coldplay/Wrestling fan here :)

Yes, that's awful. This could led to so many problems for the security, the band or performer, the people of the production and for themselves. It's truly a dumb thing to do. Glad Chris is from another world and can maintain his coolness about it. BTW I'm a wrestling fan too haha. I can totally understand what you talking about hehe.
