The Escapist

I think the greatest gift in the world is silence. It's quiet, peaceful, full of solace. I don't know why but, when I'm sad, I feel happy because I hear nothing going on around me. When I listen to The Escapist live 2012 mix, my ears hear it, but my mind drifts away...away...away somewhere I can just relax myself. A place of silence. A place where it's so quiet, the only noise I hear is the ringing of my ears. The ringing of my own intentions. The pain I caused without knowing. Walking down the road, blindfolded, or have I been guided the whole time? I must have been or else I would have strayed off course. But what course? That's planned out, but not mapped out. Or is it? But if it's not, then what's the plan. An idea without a plan. Is that just as good as a plan? I wish I knew. Soon I'll go to bed, off to another day in the rat race. Planning what the future may hold. But I can't keep my head in the clouds. But that's the comfort I feel when I daydream. That's my solace. The feeling of fear and excitement. Of not knowing what will come next. Because that is life. We can adapt can't we? I am uncertain of what the future holds, but the present, I know is a gift. So know...still blindfolded, being guided by a hand for only a little while longer. Trying to find the yellow brick road. Will I find it? Or am I just another grain of sand on the beach. Blowing into a mound. A mound, a pile, a sandcastle? Well...I guess it depends how you define sandcastles. Life is like a sandcastle I guess. They take time and effort. But when the crumble and fall, we can't help but smile at what it had become. It had held off the crashing ocean water for some time. But like all great things, it must come to an end. Is this what life is? A game? A movie? A death trap? It must be whatever we think it is right? Cause in the end, is there really only love? That's what they say. But I think it's up to us to say. Life...A puzzle we're always unraveling. Trying to find bliss with what we're given, what we receive, and what we strive for. Life..I find it beautiful. Just...beautiful.

Whats the better road to travel? The road to dreams or the road to stability. I feel like I shouldn't chase after this...But I want to so bad..But...is it the right thing to do?

I'll admit, often times I think about how the people of Coldplaying are doing, hoping thy're well. You come up in my mind a lot. Haha...I hope it doesn't sound creepy. :rolleyes:

Good luck responding to that! ^^ :lol: Ugh...back to school again. Been off the past week and I was getting used to it. Three weeks then Finals week then 2 weeks off for Christmas...wow time sure fly's by fast. Can't wait for winter. I love it. I'll go straight into X&Y hibernation. For those scratching your head, saying, has this guy gone mental, I will explain. I only listen to X&Y. 24/7 during the day, at night, rainy days or if its dark out. I try to keep my hair long, but not curly like Chris's, I'll wear black long sleeves most of the time. And I always keep an extra 20 wristbands handy in case I wanna wear some. If I'm really into it, I'll write songs inspired by X&Y. I freaking love X&Y...did I mention that? :lol:
