Don't worry you didn't. I just wanted to disagree to your point that not everybody thinks X&Y is bad. That's all.

I respectfully disagree with you about X&Y. X&Y pushed Coldplay into an entirely new direction just like ROB. Is it different, yes, is it bad? Well that's all a matter of opinion. X&Y has a few stadium songs but other than that, they seem pretty personal. Also, @mrkjhnwht, I said "I'd". Meaning I would like to hear more songs like MM and MTM. I never said "We" or "Most Coldplay fans". The albums are what you make of it. We just can't go around telling others they're wrong. I'm not saying you are, but I'm just throwing that out there. I think MX was a interesting direction to take. Viva was brilliant, but you can't remake that on each album. In a interview the boys said the albums represent their feelings towards life at that moment in time. I'm all for a unique sounding album like Viva again, but moving forward with a fresh canvas is the best thing to do. Now I have a question for you. I'm just curious that's all. When you listen to Coldplay's music, do you listen to it and compare it to previous songs?Or do you listen to it for pure enjoyment? I've found if you stop comparing their music to Parachutes and Rush of Blood, then all of it sounds enjoyable. I'm not going to listen to a song like Paradise and say, "This song sucks compared to Rush of Blood". No I'm going to say, "This is very different from Rush of Blood, I should try to enjoy it for what it is". You know what I mean? I'm not trying to undermine what your saying. All I'm saying is we have to accept what we are given and try to enjoy it to the fullest. Sure you don't have to like every song they put out, but we are the Coldplay's most dedicated fans(Making an assumption here) so we have to stick by them through thick and thin. Of course you don't have to but it would be nice, you get what I'm saying? :P The strength of a band is wherever you think it is. If the boys are enjoying themselves, we should enjoy the music too. Okay, I'm going to stop typing because I'm just ranting all over the place./ Rant over.
