I think all Coldplay songs sound better with earphones. You get a better, fuller sound. At least with a lot of X & Y songs--I have the entire album on my iPod. So I'm sure Paradise does sound better with them.

YES! You're my best friend. :D The strings are my favorite part. Listening to this for a second time...I love the strings. I just love them. Because they WORK. Some artists don't know how to use them. I wouldn't say it's like an X & Y song, but the strings are kind of used like they were on that album. Only this time, to a greater extent.

I'm not really a fan of ETIAW...And I'm not really decided on Paradise...but I voted for Paradise on the poll. Actually I'm not exactly a fan of either of them, but Paradise is...I don't know. I just like it a little better. Both of them have too many repeats as their main flaw. But I adore the strings in Paradise, so it gets a point for that, at least.

Well for something like MX...it wouldn't work if it wasn't ordered. It's supposed to be telling a story, so how is it going to work if it's not ordered? In an album like this, it MUST be organized.

I've listened to this about 50 times so far. It's getting addicting. And it keeps getting better. If this becomes my favorite song the world will explode. It would have to be ridiculously good to do that. But the snippet sounds so promising! :confused:

I want Charlie Brown, HLH, PoC, Up in Flames, and Paradise videos. ESPECIALLY Hurts Like Heaven! I love that song! PoC would be interesting for a video, no?

This sounds AMAZING. I am so happy. The strings sound so nice, along with the "oooh"s and I even like the vocal parts as well. I think "para para" is in there because it works. I really need the full song to make this assumption, but I think the two syllables are repeated because of the time signature and making things fit. It'll sound fine once we hear it in the full version. The first half just kind of blew me away. The second half may sound like pop, but orchestra-sounding parts aren't usually found in pop songs. :P

I too love Moving to Mars...but it's not on the album because, where would it fit?

Yes, I can breathe--Hurts Like Heaven, Charlie Brown AND PoC made it! But especially HLH, I was kind of worried about it.
