It's above Someone Like You! :D
  2. I went down south to visit my dad and while I was there I met up with some friends I don't see very often, and one guy had his iPod dock and we were listening to music. They are all into heavy metal music and Queen and Pink Floyd and stuff, so I was way out of my depth. They asked me what I liked to listen to and I said Coldplay (what was I thinking?!) They took it surprisingly well actually :laugh3: While I was there we listened to Time and I was just like 'WTF is this?!' I borrowed some Pink Floyd from my dad because I want to see what the fuss is all about. In return, I'm going to lend my dad AROBTTH and VLVODAAHF :)
  3. I know, but it stayed 'alive' in the Elimination game for a long time so apparently it's popular
  4. All the Viva demos: The Man Who Swears He's God The Fall Of Man St. Stephen First Steps Bloodless Revolution :awesome:
  5. Even "A whisper, a whisper, a whisper, a whisper, a whisper...."? Your entitled to your opinion, but most Coldplayers would agree that AROBTTH (the song) is one of Coldplay's masterpieces :P
  6. 42 81 Clocks 94 Daylight 88 Death and All His Friends 89 Don't Panic 51 Fix You 13 Lovers in Japan 21 Politik 75 Shiver 91 Viva la Vida 43 Violet Hill 76
  7. Your friend might want to get that yellow bleeding looked at or something. It probably means they have like no red blood cells. Also he might want to get that butterflies thing checked out.
  8. You keep food in a hamper when you go on a picnic One of the things you could keep in it is a cake As we all know, Jonny loves cake :D Saucepan
  9. That would be so awesome! :o
  10. The Man Who Swears He's God Bloodless Revolution Famous Old Painters :sneaky:
  11. :bomb: this is the hardest one yet! All of these are amazing (apart from Lost, I don't really like it that much)
  12. Welcome Alex! :) Glad to see another White Lies fan here :D
  13. I would pick No. 4 if the running man's head weren't cut off. It kinda looks like he has a cleavage for a head, which is weird. But I like the off-the-shoulders one :)
  14. Celine, I'm pretty sure Politik will stay. Chris has said he thinks it's one of his best songs, and obviously it's so amazing live. I think they only don't play it if they're in a smaller venue as it doesn't have quite the same effect.
  15. I have another question about this. When you say you will include B-Sides, will you just stick them on to the end of their corresponding albums? Or will you pad out the middle of each album with B-Sides (where necessary) to ensure that all the album closers are in the same round as each other? I think the latter would be a better idea. Of course, if you've already got it all planned out and it's worked on other sites then I'm sure you know what you're doing :)
  16. I wasn't suggesting we start a new game yet, but we definitely need to speed this one up. I've just looked back a few pages and yes, reducing by 20 does seem to be a good idea. Sorry Fix You, but we have to get rid of you  ;)
  17. This is based on the 'ELIMINATION GAME OF A LOT OF COLDPLAY SONGS' thread (which has been going for over 3 years :o) so it's a good representation of what songs fans like. (I tweaked the order a bit so it made a coherent album, but the vague order is based on the score of each song in the aforementioned thread) DISC 1: Politik Clocks Shiver Daylight 42 Viva La Vida Violet Hill Lovers In Japan Fix You Cemeteries of London The Scientist Trouble Swallowed In The Sea DISC 2: Don't Panic Moses High Speed A Message In My Place Strawberry Swing Lost! Yellow Life in Technicolor ii Sparks Ladder To The Sun I Ran Away Death And All His Friends
  18. Things I Don't Understand Tick tock tick tock tick tock
  19. How would you deal with the problem that some albums have more songs than others? Assuming you would include hidden tracks: Parachutes has 11, AROBTTH has 11, X&Y has 13, Viva has 13, PM only has 8, MX has 11 (not counting the interludes). Also, would B-Sides be taken into consideration? I would be up for taking part, but I need these things clarifying :)
  20. I'm still here :) 42 82 Clocks 94 Daylight 89 Death and All His Friends 86 Don't Panic 50 Fix You 13 Lovers in Japan 22 Politik 73 Shiver 92 Viva la Vida 43 Violet Hill 77 Does anyone think we should change things up a bit, because this has been going on for sooo long now and there are a bunch of songs released after this game started that are feeling left out (from PM and MX). How about allowing people to add/remove 5 points at a time? So we can finish this quicker. (otherwise it will keep going on for years and years with an out-of-date song list)
  21. She was there cheering for them at the Grammys apparently, so it's a bit odd if she wasn't at the Brits. Maybe she was there but nobody saw her :inquisitive:
  22. also, Violet Hill = ETIAW BUT Strawberry Swing = what?
  23. This is so true. Songs like Spies and Lovers In Japan are all about triumphing over adversity, which is basically what MX is all about. That's my interpretation anyway, but I'm sure you can see the connection.
  24. I wonder if there is a Blur forum somewhere full of 'Coxarn' fangirls
