Ugh, tell me about it! Would have saved me a million a one phonecalls to Ticketmaster! Glad to see it will be an X stage and our prediction of center rows only starting at row 20 was right. I see lots of space around the X and also behind the Center rows. I wonder if that will be for security or GA? Or maybe just for their production setup.

We called AMEX again to give an earful. They SPONSORED the VIP packages, THEIR staff told me us we could change the name. Then Ticketmaster says no. They said they will do what they can. But I'm certain nothing will happen. Seats are VIP Tour Package, Row 12 seats 39 and 40. Oh and according to Ticketmaster she does not have to USE the tickets, just to get them from willcall, full ID must be shown.

I agree, she is looking more like mommy. But who knows about the thumb sucking! My friend is 33 and she admitted to sucking her thumb at night. Some habits are impossible to break!

Everytime I tried with Rogers, no seats came up. Strange! Glad you got amazing seats! Those are right above the Platinum box seats!

My VIP package for the first show was paid with my mom's AMEX for my birthday. I have my own freakin' AMEX and would have gladly used that. Too late now. They will NOT allow an additional name added for will-call pick up so my mom has to go down there - almost impossible. I know its still like 7 months away, but this is a serious issue. AMEX Platinum Concierge specifically told me on the phone that the tickets could be purchased FOR someone else and they would simply add the name on the file. THIS IS BS. Ticketmaster told me they have never had so many requests for this type of thing (um, cause its almost XMAS and VIP Coldplay tkts are an amazing gift!?!) and the tour came back and said NO way. No added names and NO refunds. Honestly, super pissed. So if the credit cardholder lives in Halifax and bought tickets for their friend in Toronto and THEY are not there that day to pick up tickets, then the tickets can't be released and there will be LOTS of empty seats at the show...PRIME seats. Maybe these are the tickets that Roadie #42 goes around giving other people. :( I'm so not impressed. I was misled and I'm frustrated. I asked if they could change the payment method to my AMEX and they said no way. They say it was clearly shown on the website and people knew when they accepted terms of purchase. SO not the case. The packages were announced three seconds before they went on sale and being frantic to get whatever, I just clicked and got whatever I could. I'm kinda sad. If I can't get my mom to go downtown that day, that $555 is gone. I'm gonna need to make that happen. All depends on when will-call opens (which we won't know until a week before the show). I know the situation could be worse and I understand they are trying to keep scalping to a minimum, but this is not right. I'm glad I'm going to the second show, also VIP, but not cool. :( If I had bought regular seats, this wouldn't be a problem. Thanks for listening to my rant. Needed to get it out...:angry:

I am wondering if anyone has any center seats up front. I am starting to wonder if they are going to do the x stage after all. Seems like most center set as are from row 18 and up...I could be totally wrong though. Curious if anyone is thinking the same thing. Again, they can't sell tickets for seats that won't be there.

I totally lied! I forgot that I shipped to my friend in Detroit obviously since shipping was cheaper. Sorry if I contributed to your stress about this! Mine got delivered this afternoon. I think it just missed my friend as he's on his way into Toronto. I really hope it got signed for or someone is totally going to steal it from his front porch!

I don't think I could ever get upset with Coldplay. They are simply amazing. Just can't wait to see how awesome the video is going to be! Adore the song. Even if there are boobs in it.....lol

Not sure about canceling. You can try. As for the seats, the rows on the floor only go to seats 46 I think she said. So although you are row 5 now they are still almost as far right as you can get close to the 118 section if I'm not mistaken. What a your seats in 8th row? I spoke with TM yesterday for a while about seating.

Yes, Chris likes boobs. Do I think they would put naked boobs in a video painted with glow in the dark paint? Hmm, who knows. But for Chris to say he wants to stop swearing as much as he has been this year and then put boobs in the video, I highly doubt it. From puppet videos to superheroes and squeaky clean graffiti dance vids, nah. I don't think so. They have kids who ar watching their stuff...

Got some more information about floor seating in case anyone is interested to know where their actual seats are. Floor seats are numbered from left to right. Left first seat is 1 and goes to 16 (Jonny's side) Center is 17-28 (Chris) Right is 29-42 (Guy's side) There are no seats available right now for rows 1-3 so it starts are row 4. But who knows what they will put in those first three rows or that blue section across the whole front. Might just be security...that's what I'm hoping, then we're technically that much closer to the stage!

Amazing! I'm super excited to see it in person! I prefer notes more than pop-ups for sure. Although Chris did say on Howard Stern they do not keep notebooks, wonder if these were just sheets turned into a notebook...hopefully not something simply manufactured for this purpose.

Are people really disappointed with it? I think more than anything its a collectible. Would love to hear Car Kids...maybe they'll throw it into the show for us...

Might have some VIP Tour packages available for the first show - 2 seats, row 12 (really row 8 since rows only start at row 4) seats 39 and 40 (middle of Guy's side). Paid $555.75 with the processing fee. I would only ask for face-value. They are will-call pick up only so the person would have to meet me down there the day of. This isn't 100% sure yet, but I thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone is interested...PM me. Hope you guys got some great tickets!

I bet PostclubUSA wasn't ready to handle the CDN shipments but took on the distribution anyway. They probably have a crappy border broker and its gonna be SLOW. Customs paperwork sucks. I used to work for a magazine and handled all that shipping stuff and things get held up if not processed properly. I would absolutely complain, esp if you paid extra for shipping! If you want my order number to compare, I'd be happy to provide it if you want to give it as a reference to MerchDirect even though I'm not in the same province though...

Nope, mine is USPS...bizarre they would split up distribution...Maybe email them back and ask why. Makes no sense. I have tracking and everything... They have to know we're all chatting about this online anyway and comparing notes! Yes, gotta get GAs out of your head. Its a sad reality. :( I did get floors. Try every chance you can! I keep periodically checking for two tickets through the AMEX promo. I am going to try on Saturday in case they release a second show. I have friends who are insane fans and also need tickets so I figure maybe I can get them for them.

So far, no X. They have to have different stage setups depending on the venue, I think. I'm still super disappointed no GA. Rogers Centre would have been amazing. I hope they come back again in later 2012 or 2013. They seem to like coming in July though. I believe literally every concert since 2002 they've done here has been June or July (except for Koolhaus '05 and Live at the Lot this past Sept). Edit: K, I'm totally wrong, but they DO come a lot in July. ;)

All the tickets are not sold. AMEX released a bunch. Scalpers got LOTS. People did get tickets. There are still singles in sections 106 and scattered about. Saturday will be the real release. Close all other programs on your PC. Make sure you have a wired internet connection and get going. If a second show opens up, maybe you'll get lucky. I honestly don't know if you'll have the choice between those sections unless you're buying resale tickets. Having an idea is good, but think quick so you don't lose whatever you get. If I had to choose, I would pick 108, 109, 118, 119 in lower rows, but those are only VIP packages, I believe. So grab what you can!

I almost had a coronary - thought you said backstage passes in Montreal. Mon dieu! I would sell these VIP seats I have and go to the Montreal show if that were the case. Gosh, I miss Montreal...love it!

So the VIP Ticketmaster people say the rows start at Row 4 - there are no Rows 1-3...she says its likely the stage, but it could change. There is not going to be anything jutting out from the stage (X stage) as there are seats all in the center assigned and sold already. So my 12th row is really 8th row. And seats 39 and 40 are in the middle of the row in case anyone was wondering about the floor layout and seating numbers. And by the way, did anyone get a free shirt when they placed their order? I was so busy and frantic I didn't realize there were FREE shirts with all AMEX pre-orders. Not the nicest shirts, but FREE none the less! They can't modify my order and add one now...darn.
