My friend is into pretty heavy stuff too, Korn, Green Day, and the like. She's also very stubborn and hardheaded, there's no hope of changing her mind :P

She's going by the old "his voice is whiny" argument.. I think the fact that ALL haters can't come up with anything better or more solid sort of makes it a moot point :rolleyes:

It's true there's worrying aboutreleasing CB before PoC, but I can't say CB is necessarily underrated; after all it got two videos

It's not that I dislike IMP, it's just that they always play it live, and it's come to the point where they just need to change it up a bit

Definitly IMP can go, it wasn't a mega-huge hit and it's run its course. I think they should drop either GPASUYF or Major Minus, since they both run in the same kind of rock-out vein, you don't really need both. Also Paradise could be cut, it's been played to death and it's time some other songs from MX got their time in the sun

This. There's this wierd unspoken rule amongst some that you're not a "true fan" unless you have been with the band from the very first album; doesn't matter what country you're from or how old you were when that album was released, unless you were there from the start, you're the scum of the fanbase. If a person knows and loves a variety of a band's work, regardless of when they got into it, they shouldn't be mocked

I don't think it really matters how popular they are in America; as has been previously stated, the country's taste in music is shameful. In a country where "artists" such as Katy Perry and David Guetta top the charts, you can't be all that surprised about the fact that Coldplay isn't popular

The ferris wheel could be called Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground, and there could be a laser-tag typed game called Spies :P

I think it would make more sense for them to release CB now that it has not one, but two videos. Also it's possible PoC is already getting radio play because it's got Rihanna in it

When I first heard UFO, it wasn't that I hated it, it was just very underwhelming after all the other huge stadium songs that cam before it on MX, so I was just like "meh". But I listened to it again later and loved it :awesome: Also I used to be not so keen on Don't panic, but now it's one of my favorites from Parachutes

You're always going to have people who are less than pleased with what a band is turning out at the time, and that's perfectly fine; in fact, how boring would this forum be if everybody agreed on everything? :P I agree it is a tad silly when people decide this band, that has been a huge part of their life for so long, is suddenly the most unholy abomination on the face of the earth just because the band made an album some fans don't like, but those people are probably the minority. Most fans that don't like MX will probably just get back into it when LP6 rolls around, and that's fine for them. Meanwhile, if you like MX, then enjoy the music. That's what being a fan is all about, right?
