Coldplay Respect!

Yes, I really liked to see that! It's wonderful to see him so passionate about music, even if it's someone elses (or maybe because it's someone elses).

Ha, my mom says I have a crush on Coldplay and Chris Martin. I´ve been thinking about that ever since. No mom, I´m just a fan, I´m amazed by them, I respect them, I love their music, I´m inspired by their personalities. And on and on... But maybe I should just accept that I do have a crush on them. I have a crush on their music and on the boys. (although I'm not searching for love from them, but a friendship would be nice!) Exactly! I should tell my mom that. And that too! Oh, and by the way: You know you're addicted to Coldplay when you spent you free Christmas holiday on Coldplaying.com from the moment you wake up and you forget to have breakfast and lunch. And you discover around 2 pm that you're hungry. You get some bread and drink and you jump back in bed to read on. And that for about 5 days...

I totally agree with you. When I started looking into Coldplay, because I liked their music, I found out so many great things about them! Humble, live for music and not for fame, funny, and on and on... It just made me love them more and more. :laugh2: Love that one. I can imagine him trying to write a song that way!

Where is this from? And where is it taken, in the Bakery? Pretty funny though to have a roll of paper next to it. Does he realy make himself cry when he writes lyrics??? i think this shows how amazing they are. They don't care what others think of them and don't surf along with the crowd. Well Hi LeonieArienne, we pretty much share the same story! I´ve become pretty obsessed with Coldplay after dec. 17th. Spent my week off after chrismtas reading through the forum, listening and watching CP and forgot to have breakfast and lunch and stuff... :thinking: So, yes. I guess I should go. But now another thing came to my mind. I´d love to visit london for a week and wait outside the Bakery for a day to see if I can meet some people. And now I thought to maybe go see them in their homecountry... Just need to figure out some stuff about that. *my mind goes nuts by just the idea of being in the same city as the boys...*

What a bummer that they are wasting the light and that Coldplay does the exact opposite. They embrace light in all it´s forms with MX. Sorry, first thing that came to my mind reading this. Anyways, my review: After 3,5 hrs of sleep my phone woke me up: 2 am, Coldplay time. Start my laptop, find the right link to a good stream and sit around and wait for the boys to appear on my screen. And then finally it started. First I had to sit through 'We Found Love' from Rihanna. Nice song, but performance is too much slut-like (sorry). Then the camera focused on Chris. Lovely clothes, looks good. He starts strumming his guitar and starts to sing. You could clearly hear he was nervous. Nervous about the first performance of PoC live with Rihanna, nervous for his voice when he's sick? On the other hand, Rihanna wasn't in tune at all. She was pretty much gasping for air and trying to deliver anything out of her that would tune with Chris. I was quite surprised by the acoustic version. I expected it to be like on the album: more dancable and probably favoured by younger audience. But thinking of Paradise following, this acoustic version was a nice transition from 'We Found Love' to the second part of their performance. I can't choose which one would have been more appropriate in this setting and which one would have been better to promote. The choice for Paradise was somewhat interesting too. It sounded and looked ok, but again Chris' voice was a little shaky and he had to squeek some tones out of his throat. Maybe they had to do Paradise because it's on the Grammy-album, but I would've prefered to hear 'Charlie Brown'. They could have put CB into the picture more than it is now and realy promote the single. But maybe his voice couldn't handle this song at the moment. It would've been great though if on the screen behind Coldplay they would show the CB music video and also the video for 'We Found Love' when Rihanna performed her song. Hmmm, Deja Vu? After all, I enjoyed watching it (as I do with every single Coldplay-related thing that isn't hatefull to Coldplay). I stuck around till 4 am and went of to bed for 2 more hours of sleep. Energy-wise this nightbreak wasn't such a great idea: I had a tough day at work, but watching and reading about Coldplay when back home cheered me up (accompanied with a piece of chocolate;))

Hey people, I need your help with something. It´s now almost 2 months that I´m doubting if I should get tickets for The Hague. I´ve been to Ahoy in December and that was my first time Coldplay live. After that day, I´ve become a massive fan of the boys and haven´t realy listened to anything else than coldplay. (besides regular radio during worktime and my heart jumping up when I hear the first tunes of a Coldplay song). Now, Ahow was great, awesome, amazing, fantastic, epic and just freaking super great! With all the lights and the xylobands and stuff. Malieveld will be mid-summer (little after) and probably still light aroung 8 o'clock. So any lightshow, lasers or xylobands won't have the same effect as in Ahoy. And they will be playing the same songs I think, DLIBYH, UWTB and stuff are not realy stage-songs right? I just can't get over these issues myself, so I thought to ask some help. What do you think, should I go or not?
