The award show is very distasteful except Chris part. I'm glad that Chris segment was pre-recorded. I don't want to see him in the show with the like of pitbull. UGH

I love this song so much! Once the album is out, I'm going to have it on repeat. The intro, the lyric, and the longing feeling are just so perfect. When I watch their performance at SXSW, the song gave me such a strong feeling. It is indeed the perfect opener for the GS era.

Same though here. I think GS will be loved by both their fans and the critics. But I don't think GS can sell more than Viva. Viva la vida is massive.

I totally agree with you. I love their old and new songs. This song reminds me of the Coldplay I fell in love with over 10 years ago. A lot of the songs in MX were heavily produced. This song sounds refreshing to my ears. Chris voice is just beautiful!

I like the video. It's much better than I expected. I was quite surprised to see ZiYi in this video. She is very famous in China. Maybe it will help spread this beautiful Coldplay song to China. Just a thought!

Yes, I listen to their songs everyday. In the morning when I drive, their songs put me in a better mood. Chris voice has this calming effect on me somehow. It has been like that for years and never get tired of it. I am a big music fan. I do listen to other bands but Coldplay has always been my no.1 favorite band.

I cried when I listened to Magic this morning. "Can't get over you.... don't want anybody else but you...." :( I have a feeling that Gwyneth wants out of the marriage. She has said in interview that it's hard staying marry for so long. Maybe she wants to feel the passion of falling in love again. Sometimes when you are together with someone for a longtime, the passion is gone and that person becomes more of friend/ family. It's just my opinion. How can she let go of such a nice husband??? I've never been so sad about celebrities breakup. Feel kind of silly but that's how I feel.

I was just thinking that too! They have always been very private. The last year or so, we saw more of them going to functions together (including the Gloden Globe). Chris moved to LA the last few months, probably trying to save their marriage. I guess things just didn't work work out at the end. I wish them the best, especially the children. :cry:

I feel very sad about it. The new songs, selling the house in London, and Gwyneth buying a house in Malibu all make sense now. Wouldn't it be very sad for Chris if he has to live in his big house in London by himself. Rumor is that he is going to buy a smaller place. I can't even imagine what they're going through. Being together for 10 years is a long time, and with 2 children. That's just so sad! Always in my head has just became a very very sad song! I am still in disbelief. Totally shocked!

Totally agree with you! It's about his passion for music, wanting to help new artists, and promote GS. Let's wait till we watch the episodes! Maybe we will change our opinion.

Same for me. It's so beautiful! I've been listening to it everyday since iTunes festival. The song literally is "always in my head" :D. The abrupt ending is actually brilliant. It leave me yearning for more. It's a perfect opener of the album/ concert.

It sounds promising. I hope the album version is not over produced like DLIBYH. It seems like most people who have heard the song like it very much. That makes me wonder why the band doesn't make it their next single. Although I like Always in my head, it doesn't sound like it will turn into a hit.
