recently i noticed a thread devoted to trying to get your hands on Spin magazine with chris martin on the front but yesterday, looking for that very magazine, i noticed him staring vacantly at me from the front of BANG as well! you should all buy this because it comes with a free cd if you're in the UK :D plus it has articles on REM and starsailor and lots of reviews as well.

its so different live. on the sydney cd it kindof slows down when they get to the chorus. very strange. either they were out of practice or just wanted a cool effect in the sound. i choose the latter. so anyway, to answer your question, i like the studio version. if id seen them live id say live but im bitter at missing out on the concert.

twin4life: are you sure you want to play the bass? coz there are plenty of unusual instruments out there which are really interesting.

the style on parachutes is so cool!! its so different. its more jazzy and it has less 'pretend orchestra' as opposed to AROBTTH dancy and weird but they are both so cooooooooooooooooool. im listening to trouble right now and it is so good. they are equal and both fantastic.
