Coldplay was just confirmed on air as the musical guests on Saturday Night Live May 3rd!

No earrings, no rings. He is still wearing his trusty necklace, though! And the new little white bracelet thingy. And let's not forget the love badge. :D edit: No, he is wearing earrings, gold ones.

The Voice is a long show! There were some extra scenes, but it was a lot of what we've seen. He would come in and give a line or two of advice to the singers. He did a great job, and he looked fantastic!! Tomorrow night, more of the same! Oh, and they did mention Coldplay's new single, and during a promo piece, they mentioned the upcoming album on iTunes

Very coincidentally, a couple of variations of articles came out, I think, yesterday about Estelle Wilkinson, their manager at the time, who was the one that actually introduced them. But it was one gig in particular where fate would play its hand during the tour to promote their second album A Rush Of Blood To The Head. "Gwyneth came to see the band with a friend at Wembley Arena in 2002,” recalls Estelle, who is from Cardiff. “At the end of the gig I took her backstage to the dressing room and introduced her to the band. The rest, as they say, is history! The next week or so we played Dublin and Gwyneth went to that gig too. She was on the front cover of some magazine and one of the band said ‘she is in our dressing room!’ It was a little surreal for a while.” She also says some nice things about the band. “The dealing with the band was never any problem,” she adds. “I never had to bribe them to do an interview like I did with The Happy Mondays. Frankly no one could have had more of a driving force than Chris Martin and the rest of the band. It was phenomenal. I hate tabloid press. It's virtually nothing but a fire starter. BUT I will make a small confession here.....don't shoot arrows at me....I admit that the thought had crossed my mind that they didn't hang out with Jonny and family much. Of course, I don't know this. In pics or videos that combined Chloe and GP, they didn't seem to interact. I have read before that she and Joanna interacted and were friends. In the front of her cookbooks, she dedicated it to their couple friends, and the Bucklands were not listed. I thought, okay, I'm sure they get enough of each other in the studio or on tour that they don't want to hang out with each other outside of work, but the Harveys were listed. Now, I'm not saying this is true! I do not know these people. I detest the tabloids and don't believe 99.9% of what I read in them, but I admit that the thought that they didn't hang out much had crossed my mind.

The stories are crazy. We've gone past the 'announcement' portion of the saga and now moving into the 'speculating' part. Great.
