I just want to say thanks to Ian, and anyone else, who worked so hard to get this site back up and running for us. This place is very, very special, not only for checking in to see what's what with our favorite band but also for connecting with each other. It was a blow to not have it for a week! So, THANKS, for working so hard to get it back online. :thumbsup: :heart:

I would love to see Chris (duh) there, but this might be one of those 'behind the scenes' awards that they don't do on air. I don't know, of course, and wish beyond wishes that it was one they did on air.

Ahhhh......good to be back.

McCartney will probably be their biggest rival (only for name sake), but I'm so hoping they pull it out. It's so deserved. What a fantastic, vibrant, colorful concert tour.

I'll do it! I volunteer! I need some luck in any way I can get it, so I will roll up my sleeves and apply to be in Tash's entourage. :cool:

It makes for a very, very happy Friday at work. :heart: It's important to note that he is indeed great from the back...and the front, the side, from underneath, around, below, from on top, sideways and every way. I'm convinced there is no view of this man that isn't stellar. (Admittedly, some of these views I've only had in my dreams...:cool:)

Right or wrong, I love these peeps into things he's doing that I don't normally get a peep into! I was hoping to see some after party pics as well. I know. But I still want to see it. :cool::kiss: Aww man, they cut off the best part. :D

Atlas

I'm thrilled to see them happy together and wish that people would please QUIT trying to find things wrong!! I mean, really....just stop. Irritating. Chris seems very happy, and to me, that hopefully means his family life is happy, his band life is happy, the new album is progressing well, he is enjoying the new music, he's loved playing live again recently and basically he is feeling relaxed and content. It's all good.

He did indeed look very content and happy (I love this happiness oozing out of him!), and like I said in the GG thread, if 'Atlas' couldn't win (darn it), at least a song he helped with did win. And he was thanked by U2 twice, so that was great and very stand up of them. I watched all of the red carpets and didn't see anything (not that I expected it). And I didn't see the band at all. And Chris, in his usual black on black, was overboard handsome as usual! And it's always good to see the 'Love' button intact. :heart:

Chris did indeed look okay with the fact that U2 won, and they are awesome for giving credit to him not once but twice. I still would have rather 'Atlas' won, but I guess a song Chris helped with would be the next best win. :thumbsup: edit: And...Tiny Fey and Amy Poehler rock!!

Not much to add that hasn't been said. It's not surprising but still a bummer that U2 walked away with it. Mandela just couldn't be topped I guess. Anyway, no band shots whatsoever that I've seen so far....just Chris and Gwyneth. He looks very handsome!! As always.... :sneaky: Nice shout out from U2! At first, they said something like "Thanks to Chris, you know who you are..." but then it was clarified that it was him and that he helped put the song together. So, that was cool.

Didn't see CP on the red carpet but they have shown Chris (and yes, G is with him!) In the crowd briefly. Looked fantastic!! I saw glimpses of him about 5 min later....
