exactly! it was nice to see the graphics, and the cut scenes were almost like watching a movie, but the plot was seriously lacking.

for me, it was kind of a "oh, it will be cool when it comes out" thing, and not a "OMG i need it NOW!" thing (like charlie brown was) UNTIL. i saw the picture of chris dressed like a jedi knight.

i use my ipod touch for almost everything. i have an 8 gig nano that i filled up, but i now use it when i go to a festival or an outdoor event and leave the itouch at home. (basically, i would be dissapointed, but not heart-broken, if i lost the nano, but very very upset if i lost my itouch) make sure you compare the prices at gamestop to the refurbished products on apple's website... the refurbished ones can run pretty cheaply priced, are put through a lot of tests by apple, and have a 1-year warrenty

what types of video game consoles do you own/like? where do your tastes fall on the gaming timeline? we just got a retron 3 at school (in gaming club... plays NES SNES and sega genisis games) and it's so awesome to play all the old games i used to play when i was little. my friend brought over his new xbox last weekend and despite the graphics being great, i just couldn't get into it. i have an SNES, a PS2, a 3DS, a PC and an ipad (i'm counting that because i use it to play RPGs) my favorite and most used seems to be my PS2... i even used to have an xbox but i let my brother take it with him when he moved. although, i'll play zelda on whatever console you are playing it on! and i'm a big fan of world of warcraft (if anyone else plays, send me a PM and i'll give you my realID... my main and main alt are on dentarg) what kinds of gaming systems do you like and/or own? are you a fan of the old school (atari, NES, SNES, sega genisis, gameboy, etc), the new school (xbox 360, PS3, 3DS, etc) or somewhere in the middle (PSX, gameboy advance, gamecube, dreamcast, etc) do you like to game on a mac or a PC?

i didn't read through the whole thread, but i'm just responding to the begining of it. if i only listened to music that other people around me liked, i wouldn't be listening to coldplay. i'd be listening to dubstep. thank god i don't let other people decide what types of music i like! i get flack from my musician friends as well, but i don't really care, because to me, coldplay is JUST THAT GOOD. hatin's bad yo.

i would totally pay more attention in spanish class if he was my teacher! and i wouldn't hit the snooze button 40 times before finally waking up for class, either!

my seat is in LOGE10... not really that great... i'm a little mad because ticketmaster waited a few days before getting back to me about my seat and by then that was the only section that had wheelchair seating available left =[ but i'm trying to not be too upset.... this is my first coldplay show!!! we should really do a coldplayers meetup at a nearby resturaunt or someplace of the sort beforehand tho, i think that would be a lot of fun and get everyone all pumped up before the show (not that we need it!)

:laugh3: in other news, i converted my spanish teacher... all it took was hearing chris speak spanish at the begining of "charlie brown" (madrid concert video) and she was an instant fan!

the awesome: for my spanish class, our final exam is going to be a powerpoint project on the topic of our choice, as long as the topic has something to do with a spanish-speaking country, and my professor already approved my outline to do a project about the madrid concert and the butterflies and all that wonderful stuff. the bad: every time i open powerpoint to work on it, "paradise" starts to play and i totally abandon my project to go watch coldplay videos on youtube. this could potentially be a problem LOL

ticketmaster is taking forever to get back to me and the wait is making me kind of anxious that i won't be able to get a good seat... is there anyone who is familiar with the venue who can tell me what section or sections the WC accessable seating is in?
