  1. I want to thank Anggita for the card she sent me. I received it in the mail a few days ago. I just wanted to say that I absolutely loved it and I'm really happy and feel really honored that you were my secret santa. Your card made my whole week. I love simple things like that. And thank you for the key chain too. The only key chains I carry around with me are ones that were gifts or have some kind of special meaning to it. And this is one of those keychains, so I will be carrying it around with me always. I will treasure it. I also loved your kind message, you sound like a lovely and wonderful person. I hope 2014 brings you so much joy.
  2. Hello to all of the lovely Coldplay fans, I wanted to ask if any of you knew what book it was that inspired Viva La Vida? I saw some one post it on here on another thread about a year ago and I was wondering what it was called again.. and if did inspire it were did you see it that the book inspired the song? Was it in a interview or written article? I hope some one can answer my question, if not, thank you for reading! <3
  3. Hey ladies is my Sharon from Virginia still around?? :)

  5. Hello all of you beautiful people, I have been absent for a while but I never ever forgot about you lovely people. I have missed talking to a lot of you. I cannot believe its been one year since I joined this amazing community. You all are such extraordinary people and it has been a pleasure to talk to every one of you. I will always firmly and strongly believe that Coldplay brings out the good and the art in people.. that's what I have seen on here and nothing less than that. I've been so overwhelmed by the love and kindness. It really, truly does amaze me so much to see such loving and kind people. A lot of you have left me with something I will always carry with me for the rest of my life. If I never get to meet any of you in person I certainly to wish, hope and pray only the best for you in life and that all of you will maybe have a chance to meet Chris, Jonny, Guy and Will for your selves. Because rather you believe it or not I care about you all and do love you all very much. I may not be a internet, computer, twitter, or facebook person but I cannot deny the fact that there are people in this wonderful online community who have touched my life because a band that we all love touched my life very deeply. You all were meant for so many amazing things I hope you know that. If you ever want some one to talk to or need encouragement, I'm here and I do care, don't hesitate to message me. =) Thank you to everyone and anyone on here who has lifted me up when I needed it, given me advice or just cheered me up. I really appreciate more than you know. It has all been so very wonderful. I owe a lot of you a debt of gratitude. And again I'm overwhelmed by how much Coldplay can have such a good influence on people because I've seen it. I will talk to you soon! take care and know that you are loved, grace and peace be with you, much love, Ariel

I'm only shipping in the United States.. sorry to anyone else. :) Please private message me if your interested. I wanted to have this up a week ago but I kept having trouble uploading the pictures. Most of the money from this is going to my friend Caleb. He's currently attending the Honor Academy in Texas and its a self-pay school and also expensive. There is no way I'm going to let money be the reason why he can't stay.. so I want to donate to him and I love him more than Coldplay so that makes it okay to give these up. Thank you for your time. 18. Hello beautiful Coldplayers!! I thought of this idea for a thread and really wanted to hear and see what it is that's on your Coldplay "bucket" list For example meeting them, getting a picture or autograph from them.. seeing the Bakery, seeing them live, etc. Here's mine : I dont know if any of these will ever happen but who said they cannot? Dreams come true. What are yours? 1. Meet them 2. Get a picture with all five of them 3. Talk to Guy about photography 4. See the Bakery in person 5. Get their autographs 6. See them live in the front row 7. Follow a whole tour or just be able to see them a lot of times on tour 8. Meet atleast one Coldplayer from every country 9. Get Chris Martin's signature tattoo'd on me or if I get the opprotunity for all of them to sign their signature on me I would probably consider all of them. 10. See them play Prospekts March live 11. Go backstage at a show of their's 12. Meet Roadie #42 13. Get a setlist from a show 14. Spray paint a wall with them or do some kind of art project with them. 15. Do a photography project with Guy 16. Get a Coldplay tattoo 17. Try to buy some butterfly confetti from the Viva era 18. Write my book about Coldplay, I already have that all planned out and thought out, I'm probably going to do it soon. 19. Visit the locations where the Fix You, Lovers In Japan, The Scientist and Paradise music videos were filmed. 20. Hug all of them

  20. ^^^ Yes I agree with you, no "work" related discussions. There are a lot of different questions and things I would love to talk to Chris about. And I would so LOVE to talk to Guy about photography because I love anything and everything vintage and photography is one of my passions.
  21. That's GREAT <3 So happy to hear.
  22. When I wanted to see Coldplay in Auburn Hills this year, on August 1st, I was almost in the same situation. But it wasn't with the tickets, it was with driving there.. I dont have my own car so I drive my mom's car all the time. My mother doesn't mind me driving the car as along as I ask before I use it. But its different when it comes to taking it out of state and driving three hours there and back for a concert. I wasn't too sure that she would let me do that. So, I toke a walk with my mother and explained to her with all my heart how much Coldplay means to me, how much of a good influence they've been to me and how they've changed my life for the better and all the good things that have come out of being a Coldplay fan. I told her how much it would mean to me for me to be able to go to this concert and how serious I was about it, because I wasn't a "normal" or "regular" fan.. I'm a superfan and being able to be in the same room with my musical heroes will be a great honor. To be surrounded by family.. yes, family, that's the way I saw it. Because when I met up with a Coldplayer from there I ran up to her and hugged her.. now this was our very first time meeting and I was crying tears of joy, just so happy to meet other superfans meant so much to me. It just touched me so much, I was overjoyed and overwhelmed with love, not only from the band but from the fans too.. I realized that it was worth it to have that talk with my mother about using her car to be able to go. I was nervous about it and scared that she might not let me go but in the end it was worth it. Have a heart to heart talk with your mother, tell her how much it would mean to you to be able to go see them. Be detailed and be honest. Show them too, how serious you are about it. Hope that helps hun, I sure do hope your able to go. I really mean it, anyone who wants to go and ends up not being able to go, I will always feel sorry for them because they really have no idea what its like until you see it in person and feel it for yourself. There are no right words to describe the feels their shows give you. =)
  23. I really wish I could be a part of this. I absolutely love anything and everything vintage and photography is my passion. I cannot get access to any old photographs though. I wish I was able to send him some. I would some day love to do a photo project with Guy. I hope whoever sends him pictures that he loves them, I know he will! =)
  24. Wow, what a great thread. LOVE hearing your stories about how you became a fan. For me, it was the 2008 Superbowl. A Viva La Vida iTunes commercial came on and that 30 second commercial was all it toke.. now that I look back on it I cannot believe what a revolution it has become and all it toke was a thirty second commercial and I was hooked. The song seemed very different to me, I had never heard music like "that" before. At that time it would of been considered weird for me to like music like that because of the way I was. I actually needed to change... that's a whole other story but Coldplay played such a big part in making me who I'am today. =)I became a fan very quickly, faster than any other music artist that I'm a fan of. Their music was very "attractive", I dont know what it was, but there was something... SOMETHING about them that made me always wanting more. I was barely a fan still when the Viva La Vida album came out but I just bought it anyway and it blew me away. It was a smart choice to just take a chance on them and just buy it. They've been nothing but an incredible and overwhelming great influence, more than you know, more than the band could ever know. =) I feel honored to be a fan, I really do.
  25. Is anybody still up for doing this? I think we should seriously consider doing something next Summer, maybe.. ? I still think its an amazing idea. =)
