Will there be an EP following Mylo Xyloto?
Hmm to me it would be cool to have a new EP for the MX era too! :) Regarding the recent interview Chris had with Zane Lowe, I really can't wait to find out what all this 'exciting' stuff will be about over the next 6-12 months! :o :D Would love to get a new tour DVD too, and/or some new UK tour dates for later this year or next year, of which would include Scotland!! *coughs* :p

2013 shows- where are Coldplay playing next year?
Hmm to me that sounds crazy if it were true :/ I was listening to the Glasgow Hampden Park gig in 2009 through BBC Radio 1 and it sounded pretty amazing, especially with the crowd singing along! so I'm not sure what could be classed as 'relatively poor attendance' anyway haha! Still one of my biggest regrets not going to see Coldplay at that gig, or the SECC concert(s) on the Viva tour either :( would give up every other gig I went to around 2008-2009 to have went to both those Coldplay gigs instead!! Then now on this tour when I actually do go to gigs, they don't come back to Scotland again for the 'UK' stadium leg

Coldplay singer
Wow thats one of those things that could have completely changed everything if the original roommate had made the audition and thus was a member of Coldplay instead of Will... :shocked2: mind = BLOWN. D: Coldplay without Will Champion?! I get the feeling that this entire forum wouldn't be here right now if that had been the case...

2013 shows- where are Coldplay playing next year?
Does anyone have any idea if Coldplay will return to Scotland in either late 2012 or in 2013? they can't just kick the whole tour off in Scotland at the SECC in 2011 and then return to the UK this year and only do ENGLISH dates  :( Although I am seeing them in Manchester on 9th June, but still I would have preferred if they came up to the Scottish stadiums again too! such as either Glasgow's Hampden Park or the Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh/Haymarket, both would make brilliant places for Coldplay to play on the MX tour!

Best Cameras for Coldplay concerts? - Please help!!
Hmm do you have any ideas of makes/models? I tried looking up cameras for concerts but don't seem to be getting anywhere yet! any that I have found look more like professional cameras that will most likely not be allowed into a concert :/ and that cost well over £100-200 too, so I'd rather not risk spending all that and have the camera be taken off me :| Even any 'compact' cameras I found look like they have a lens bigger than any compact/digital camera I've seen haha!

[9-Jun-2012] Coldplay @ Etihad Stadium, Manchester, UK
Managed to get myself a ticket for this yesterday :D seriously CAN'T WAIT to see Coldplay live again now!! will be my 2nd time, but first time seeing them at such a massive stadium concert :shocked2: I've also got a hotel booked for myself for a couple of nights from 8th to 10th, so I only have to worry about getting the train down the day before, and then back home on the 10th haha! Was hoping I wouldn't have to go alone to this gig though :/ but anyone I asked about it who I was hoping would go with me, said they wouldn't be able to due to being skint D: oh well its their loss I guess! plus I don't want anyone holding me back from my dream of seeing Coldplay live at a stadium!! :)

Coldplay singer
I just couldn't imagine Coldplay putting their names or even 'vocals' 'drummer' 'guitarist' 'bassist' into a hat and taking turns to pick them out, then being like 'and now our band is complete!' or something lmfao!

Hello Coldplaying!
Thank you for the kind welcomes! :)

Best Cameras for Coldplay concerts? - Please help!!
Sorry if this is the wrong part/section of the forum to post this thread in, but I found (and posted in) a thread about cell phones/cameras at concerts, so thought I would post my thread about a similar subject in this section too! Anyway, I'm looking for the best ideal camera for taking to a Coldplay concert for recording video with great quality sound that doesn't get ruined by the massive drum/bass vibrations and one that doesn't cost well over £100 if possible? haha! I'm going to be seeing Coldplay again on 9th June at the Manchester Eithad Stadium, of which will be my first time seeing them in concert at a stadium! :o previously seen them for the first time at the Glasgow SECC on 3rd December, and used mainly my iPod to record 'HD' videos of the concert... But well at worst what I got was a 'badly remixed dupstep massacre' of Viva La Vida... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNmMsrsE0oM]Coldplay - Viva La Vida (Glasgow SECC - 03.12.2011) HD - YouTube[/ame] :stunned: although about the first minute the sound quality is pretty amazing! :) A fairly good example would be my video of the opening/Mylo Xyloto intro + Hurts Like Heaven: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-E8E-O39Fc]Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto Intro + Hurts Like Heaven (Glasgow SECC - 03.12.2011) HD - YouTube[/ame] Still not exactly 'amazing' but much better on the ears than Viva La Vida was! although saying that, all the flashing light boxes at the start caused havoc with the picture and about blinded me  haha! I also took my Kodak EasyShare C195 digital camera along for taking a few pictures and as a backup video camera too! of which I needed it when my iPod decided to run out of free space after Viva La Vida D: so I was able to record bits of the last songs with it, but never got around to uploading them to YouTube too! I don't have any examples of video/sound from that camera, but can say that there wasn't as much sound interference with the drum/bass vibrations as on Viva La Vida anyway! but there was still a slight sound glitch/blip and the sound seems a bit quieter too, so either this camera or my iPod probably won't be a great idea for taking again to record any videos :/ So yeah anyway, does anyone know of any good/affordable cameras out there digital stereo sound recording if possible! as I have less than a week until I see Coldplay and would love to try and get a camera that I know I'll be able to get some overall great sounding videos for once :) I've seen a lot of YouTube videos where they sound pretty amazing if I'm honest :shocked2: but anyone I've tried sending a message to asking about their camera, never replied :( Any help would be greatly appreciated please :)

Ever have a dream about Coldplay?
Swear I must still be dreaming... cause I had a dream about Coldplay, woke up and finally joined this forum, and now I've found a thread where you can post about your Coldplay dreams?! magic!! ;D Anyway, the dream I had involved Coldplay coming to perform at my old Secondary/High School for a few days I think, and I remember going to see them on the first day, but don't remember anything about the concert itself! just that when it was over I tried waiting outside the doors of the school hall to meet them, but they went out through other doors :( then on the 2nd day I wasn't at the concert, but remember running out of class when the bell went and rushing down to the hall to see Coldplay, of which I heard the Viva chant going through the corridors as I got closer to the hall :O then I found myself back outside the doors, and this time Will and Jonny came over to meet some of us :D and Jonny said 'Hi I'm Jonny' to me, which made me remember about the part in this video I watched last night (about 1:27 onwards)... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7w9B7FSRcuk]Chris Martin funny moments - YouTube[/ame] So then I told him about that and we burst out laughing, as did Will, so we all had a great laugh about it! not sure if anything else happened in the dream after that, but I woke up at somepoint after that and I'm glad I've been able to remember this much about it :D was kinda like 'awww it was just a dream :(' when I woke up, but then I thought about it more like 'that was an AMAZING dream!!'

Xylobands Sharing
Another of many reasons why I'm glad I've finally joined this forum, is for helpful threads like this one! :) I finally saw Coldplay live for the first time on 3rd December 2011 at the Glasgow SECC, where they kicked off their world tour (or at least the UK part!) :) but unfortunately never got my own Xyloband as I was in too much of a rush to get in and at the front, that I ran right past the big bin the had full of them, and only saw it on the way out as they took it away :( However thanks to a very amazing Coldplayer on Twitter, I was able to get one sent in the post just before Christmas :D Anyway, the reason I'm posting in here is because my mate who was also at the concert with me, never got a Xyloband too :/ and is still without one! :o so if anyone on here would be willing to send me one to give to him I'd be really grateful :) Could you add me to the 'want list' with my location as either UK or Scotland, Fife please?

Coldplay , Cell Phones and Cameras
Sorry if this might be considered as bumping an old-ish thread, but I found it when searching for digital camera info threads! Have to say I'm very very guilty of doing this at pretty much every concert I've ever been to :embarrassed: I do understand about what was said in this thread though and how it could be annoying for people behind you having to either look around your camera or watch the concert through it too... oops haha! but it can't be as bad with someone only having a small digital camera, compared to someone trying to film the concert on an iPad (or other tablet device) :| going by that Coldplay tweet/blog post I saw about it anyway :P Anyway despite this, and despite having a mix of good/bad/decent/awful videos from concerts over the years, I still like to be able to have those videos to look back on and experience/re-live the concert again from my own point of view! rather than other peoples better quality videos or a concert/tour DVD of it. I am still however looking for that 'perfect' (or ideal) camera for recording concert videos on, but I'm about to make a new thread for explaining all of that and hopefully getting help! :)

Hello Coldplaying!
Hey, don't really know what to say here (great start for being a new member!) but I have to say that me signing up here has been very very very loooooong overdue! I've seen this place around and been following the Coldplaying Twitter for ages now too, but just never got around to signing up, as its been awhile since I properly used any forums now too! so hopefully this forum will be very welcome and hopefully the best forum I've ever been a part of :) LukesterPlay probably isn't the best username I've ever thought of, as I've used the 'Lukester' nickname around the internet for many years now, with many variations of it such as Lukester15 for my YouTube and xLukesterx for my Twitter :P I was previously a member on the GirlsAloudMedia forum (no guesses as to the group/band its about! ;D) and it was one of those places where you wish every fansite was like it, in terms of having a massive on-going collection of media and being able to contribute to it yourself too! which is another reason why I've been meaning to join Coldplaying, as it looks even more better than GAM is! Anyway, about myself - I'm 21 years young :p and come from Fife, yes, the same area that Guy Berryman comes from! :D although I'm not from Kirkcaldy though, but its only a 20-30 minute drive away, so I'm very close still! ;) Think I've rambled on enough already for this just being a 'welcome' thread, but yeah I hope to feel right at home here with the Coldplayers/Xylobrytes etc and if anyone wants to follow me on Twitter then feel free :) as its great having more and more Coldplayers following me, and also means I'm not the only person tweeting/spamming about Coldplay whenever they have a performance/concert on the TV/Internet :p
