  1. That meant them being featured in-person in ads, not their songs. I can name atleast 8 ads at the top of my head here using their songs. As I said, if let's say me, a telecommunications company, want to use "X" track of a Top40 artist, I just go to their music licence publishing website, find the track I want, select from a certain type of criteria that I want to use, pay for it and done. It's a little bit oversimplified but at no time it ever requires anyone from the original artists agreeing in any way their song being used in my company's ad, the artists do not hold any kind of publishing r
  2. What? Are you serious? Our commercials are filled with their tracks. Yellow, Clocks, Viva La Vida, Sky Full Of Stars, Adventure Of A Lifetime are tracks that are literaly abused by ads here. Cellular companies, car ads, sports equipment shops, gym chains and the list goes on. If you ask people if they know Coldplay and they say they don't, if you play them these tracks they will go like "OH! The track from that ad...". I also clearly remember Vodafone using the Jacques Lu Cont's Thin White Duke mix of "Talk" back when I was in highschool, everybody seemed to mumble the tune from that remix.
  3. I know that it might be a coincidence but all 4 songs (Always in my Head, O, Music Of The Spheres, Higher Power) are in G Minor and the female choir of Always In My Head/O is synchronized perfectly if you layer it over Music Of The Spheres. It works even better if you paste the "OoOoOh don't ever let go". Dunno, Music Of The Spheres might be actually an evolution of Always In My Head, kinda like how Bani Adam was an evolution of Kaleidoscope.
  4. I noticed that the Music Of The Spheres intro from the Higher Power video is on exactly the same key as Always in My Head and O, you can literally paste the one over the other and they match. I pasted the "Ooooh don't ever let go" vocal from O and I can also hear some elements matching in timing on where they should be from the O Instrumental to the Music Of The Spheres intro. I don't know if that says anything, but atleast my guess is that it's the opening interlude from the album, like Mylo Xyloto was on MX, and how O was incorporated to Always in my Head and vice versa (O is essentially a s
  5. For the record, Higher Power (Instrumental) seems to be promoted in lossless form but I haven't been able to spot a promo link. Anybody able to beat me to it?
  6. That thing has a transmission in Greek too! Anyway here are some things I was able to get from that site: https://www.alienradio.fm/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/ARFM-6gw2.mp3 https://www.alienradio.fm/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Kaotican.mp4
  7. I meant not just for streaming, especially in lossless form! XD
  8. Well I guess the track is in demand, and since it's not available in this form commercially, I doubt we are breaking any rules here so here is a link to the track. Also, I bet there's more tracks that are not available in digital lossless that I may have, anybody care to list some? I think Moving To Mars was never released outside iTunes(?), I have that somewhere... The Goldrush https://mega.nz/file/kfQDRYSQ#GOUnRH48RJ4jKze-nicolJwYauiKPuIRbj_sEsRBW6w
  9. I have that in digital-source lossless in case anyone is interested. Physically, this was only released in vinyl.
  10. So I was messing around with some stuff and since the original instrumental is literaly, well, just that!, I readded the choir layer without Chris'es vocal take. I have his voice isolated too and it's sooo sooo sweet! I'll share everything I got once I get my new computer, but get ready to be excited! I'm posting this here for the moment just for fun! https://mega.nz/file/FCRBAADQ#rYo-lYE2J-Axsq79U4ohhYpWXtngxD4hRIsKmMbcZP4
  11. Man clean edits can be stupid. What I mean is I hate when you do clean edits you put no effort into them. Atleast make them sound proper, like they were intended to sound that way, not a hodgepodge cut-copy-paste job that everybody is going to notice that something's wrong. What is that "SAME [akward gap] BLOOD!" supposed to mean? Chris sings every word on-the-beat on that part. It sounds weird when it skips one when your brain is trained to expect it. Find the tempo of the song and make it sound properly like there's nothing edited out you supposed professional sound engineer that gets paid s
  12. It was physical, it got really bad the last year to the point we had to rush her to the ER and the doctors essentialy told me that she's dieing and I must be prepared but my brain rejected the thought. I'm so mad at myself right now. I have guilt.
  13. So I'm gonna post this here for everyone without saying anything, but promise me that you won't skip anything on your first listen and you'll close your eyes and listen from the beginning the whole thing! So... https://mega.nz/#!laoGDIqI!XkoxStmA63gxFtMgybG0Ia4bZPt0AbV6d2ijfnFTF_4
  14. I have the soundboard recording and it really doesn't sound any different, that's what I'm trying to say. My only issue is that the studio version of Color Spectrum is mono.
  15. I kind of already did that here: https://coldplaying.com/forum/index.php?threads/a-head-full-of-dreams-ahfodt-studio-version.110706/ I doubt with what we have as raw material you can get any closer.
  16. Cuts out the sound effect intro and the bridge is shortened to just 4 bars ("Music is the weapon, music is the weapon of the future" is just said once). Not bad. Also, it's clean.
  17. They just released two radio promos for the track. EU: 1. Arabesque (Explicit) (5:40) 2. Arabesque (Clean) (5:40) 2. Arabesque (Instrumental) (5:40) US: 1. Arabesque (Radio Edit) (4:56) 2. Arabesque (Radio Instrumental) (4:56) Got the EU one but now I'm trying to get the US one since it says that the content is not available in my region.
  18. I saw your post a week ago but I was hesitating on posting a reply because I wanted to be as honest and as intimate as possible. Now that I have some spare time and I can sit behind the keyboard relaxed, I can share my story with you, infact, all of you. I'll try to be as short as possible so I won't make anyone of you tired but without skipping any key aspects. So I've been battling with depression for over a decade now. In 2017 it got so bad that I attempted to take my life in a public space and people jumped on, stopped me, the authorities got involved etc. One of my best friends, a ye
  19. OK I don't know if it has already been mentioned but now I know why the interlude is cut into pieces. Propably they bet that people would play it while driving on a car and most cars display CD-Text data and if you play it back track by track the screen will flash one by one letter the phrase G O D = L O V E kinda simulating a projection or a video effect. YOU, yeah you, the person that mastered that disc, you are a f*cking genious, you really outsmarted me! Except the fact that as I said you abused the redbook audio standard, ONCE AGAIN!
  20. The piano in the beginning of Kaleidoscope sounds way too close to Bani Adam.
  21. Wait a minute... Is it just me or Bani Adam sounds like the first small part of Kaleidoscope before the static to the other piano part with the poem? Was that a precursor or a demo to it? Or even a hint of something they are working on?
  22. My only hope is that they have an analogy of more happy songs. That's it. Oh and I love their interludes but they need to make a little bit more sence than the ones on Everyday Life or atleast be more produced with proper Coldplay elements to them than just some stock bland sound effects from a royalty free library. Like I heavily doubt anybody is interested to hear just a sound effect of a noisy town and a little bit after that birds with the sound of a clock tower or church. They don't seem to offer anything to the record. It needs to be something more like Keleidoscope, A Hopefull Transmiss
  23. Just got a lossless promo of it. I think it's time to make an "Eveyday Life" dedicated downloads section.
  24. "O", was originally mastered with a pregap. Somebody down the promotion/mastering chain must have found that a horrible idea and they re-issued the disc with simply a gap before the retail disc went to stores. Some copies of that disc though still made it to people's hands. All promotional copies of the album that predate the official release contain the pregap marking. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pregap
