They do try to get off the island. THAT is what they're trying to do the whole time. And they do get angry and try to kill each other a lot during the show. And they also try to become friends...

When you're at the mall with your friends and you you here the beginning of Princess of China so you get excited and exclaim "PRINCESS OF CHINA!!!" And your friends all go "wait...what?" :blush: and then you reply "...the song that's playing..." And one of your friend's then says "oh yeah, is that Coldplay?"
