I'm not very fond of "Politik" myself. We all have different opinions, bud! But if it makes you happy, the song is growing on me...

Green Eyes is lovely romantic song. If I was a dame, I'd love it if my beau would seranade me with that song.. he'd have to change it to "BROWN EYES", though. ;)

The scientist in my opinion is a song about love lost.. and this scientist who discovers that not even science can mend or repair the damage done. "Science and progress do not speak as loud as my heart" I don't want to dig too deep as it would only explode my precious brain.. heh

I would give Parachutes 5/5 - It's simple a great album. I can never skip a track. It includes the classic hit "Yellow". I would rate A rush of blood.. 4.5/5 - I'm not very fond of the songs "Politik" and "A whisper".. They're growing on me though..

I feel the total opposite. I think it's brilliant... goes well with the lyrics. "You were an island and I passed you by; You were an island to discover" Simple yet brilliant..

Here are my TOP 5 for the album "A rush of blood...." (In no particular order) 1. The Scientist (A powerful song.. moves me everytime I hear it) 2. In my place (Nice rythm.. I don't know anyone who doesn't like this song) 3. Amsterdam (Depressing yet hopeful song) 4. Green Eyes (Nice romantic song. I can sing this to my girl everytime) 5. Warning Sign (Simply a beautiful song...)

I'm feeling the love right now, baby! So.. The song Yellow does justice for me "Look at the stars; look how they shine for you" "Your skin and bones turn into something beautiful D'you know I love you so....." *sigh*

Oh no doubt about it. They rank high in my books of "ALL TIME GREAT BANDS"
