Yea it seems like people are more hyped about this album then X&Y. I mean there was excitement for X&Y but i think this is a different and bigger excitement for some reason.Thats how i feel anyways!!

I wonder which song is the song that they said that everyone had to hear before they died.

If they say its coming out in may then there should be a single out really soon...shouldnt there be?

Quite of few of the discriptions say of having piano in the songs.so it doesnt seem that they left the piano out like rumors were saying they might!I love the piano in coldplay songs!!This is amazing news!!We also go to hear new music titles too!

I think they will have a new opener and a new closer song.Just like they did in the AROBTTH Tour they had Politik and Life is for Living.And the Twisted Logic Tour they had Square One and Fix You.I think they will still keep Square one at the begining of the setlist maybe just like they did with Politik.I think it might be 1.new song 2. Square One 3.Politik. 3 good openers from the previous tours and albums.But with a new album an tour im sure they would change things up with a new opener and closer. Plus they might expand the setlist a couple songs,seeing as they are on their 4th album an have so many good songs to choose from. I also think they will keep songs like White Shadows,Talk,Square One,Fix You,and maybe Speed of Sound just because they are so arena and stadium friendly.They are very energetic songs an go well with the show and the lights and sound great live!!

Their lights shows keep getting better with every tour and I cant wait to see what they come up with this time!!

Yea who knows if any of this is true.But you just cant help but get excited when you hear new things about the new album!!Half way through February!!Almost there!!haha

I heard Talk on the radio today and i got so irritated!!It was the radio edit ofcourse.They cut the song to shreds!!The song is usually about 5 mins i think an im pretty sure the edit was like 3 an a half minutes or so.It was horrible.I changed the channel cause it didnt sound right. Sometimes i hate the fact that Coldplay always has radio edits when their songs are played.A lot of other artists dont do that. Is this the bands choice?But it is nice to hear Coldplay on the radio!!

Dani who??Never heard of this guy!!I think its funny when people publicly say that they dont like Coldplay or Chris Martin.Chris is the kind of guy who could care less about the people who dont like him.Do you ever see Coldplay or Chris Martin saying that they dont like someone publicly or at all??Very funny!!

Do you think they will reveal who Prospekt is eventually??

Today i was listening to a cd i burned of A Rush of Blood to the Head backwards. I think a while back i downloaded it from the media section here.Coldplays songs are naturally great!!But even when you play them in reverse they are pretty good as well!! You get different melodies that sound aweomse when you play them backwards and chris singing backwards is wierd but cool at the same time.I find myself singing along to the scientist and in my place when its played in reverse haha!!

Im kind of diggin the Lovers in Japan track title.

New Star in 2008!! Journal Update. 2 new songs that we now know of- Lovers in Japan and Strawberry Swing.

At the least maybe they might be there and play a classic song like yellow or clocks or something.But now my hopes are up too!!

Interesting...the late night shows have been new the past couple of weeks.They are all airing without the writers and have had new guests on.But im not sure about this one.It does say new episode on my tv infor guide for tonight but thats it.No mention of who is a guest or performing.I will be watchin for sure just to make sure.If anything i get to see and old performance clip of coldplay when they performed on the show.I dont want to get my hopes up but just what if....haha

Its amazing how sweaty chris gets during concerts!He must lose like 2 lbs a concert!!

Im usually a patient person but this is KILLING ME!!I think i set myself up most of the time expecting something every day.I know that they wont give us info on the album every single day,but somehow thats what my mind tells me!!

Didnt know where to put this but this seems like a good place!!I was reading some reviews from before on coldplays albums and a lot of the time they get compared to Radiohead,which is understandable. But doesnt it seem kind of annoying to anyone?Yea they have their influences and bands often get compared to other bands.I dont know to me it just gets kind of old.I dont even think Radiohead is all that good.I mean i recognize that a lot of people think they are a good band but just not for me.

Yea paps are stupid!Get a real job!!Its wierd seeing Chris mad though!!Its amazing just in general how mad he can get!!I know he was protecting his wife.

This is exactly what Chris and the boys hate!!So much drama with EMI lately.I bet the boys are irratated right now!!

Yea at first i was kinda skeptical about the names but they have kind of grown on me! But lets also remember that these are 10 or so songs that are up for consideration for the new album.Im sure they have more songs that they are considering putting on the final track listing.I personally dont think that the whole album will be made up of these 10 or so songs we know of.Chris is always writing songs and it was September when we heard about these titles.So they could have lots more different songs to choose from we dont know about!Shoot! they could be fake names and they might be pullin a fast one on us who knows!I guess we will just have to wait and see!

I think hes the right guy for Coldplay.They always talk about experimenting with new things and from the sounds of it it sounds like Eno is pushing the boys to try new things.I think this album will be there experiment album.And who better then to experiement with then Eno?And plus the U2 albums he has produced were big albums for them so I think this will be Coldplays best yet!!

Maybe we will get a journal update this week.Seems to be around that time!!I get more and more excited about the journal updates now!

I love this time of the album making process.Rumors are all over the place about the new album.Title tracks are being talked about as well as the album title.When are we going to hear a single and video.They are certainly going to be touring again this year. And just the anticipation of the new album being released...man 2008 is going to be a great year for coldplay and coldplay fans!!
