Sorry, but the story about Will leaving the band was while they were making The blue room, not Parachutes...i belive. I read it on an article from a website of some canadian radio called The Edge: "...And as soon as everyone finished their final university exams in June 1999, Coldplay signed their major record deal.That summer, they recorded another EP, this time with the title the blue room. There was a lot of tension and pressure during these sessions and Will actually walked out for a week. Chris - a non-smoker and non-drinker - responded by getting blind drunk. He hasn't had a drink since, by the way. In the end, though, things were worked out - but not before a few rules were laid down. Number one: the band was declared a democracy. Everything - including all profits, no matter who wrote the songs or how they were written - would be split four ways, just like they do in U2 and REM. And number two: anyone caught using coke would be immediately dismissed." I wonder why they created the second rule??? :confused:

They did it when Apple was born, so it's been a long time since we saw it! Did you know that they did another funny video during the making of A Rush of Blood to the Head??? If you do, where can i see it? i just found out about it in the q&a... And do you remember the other one they did at Christmas time? i wanna see that again too!!!! :rolleyes:

Well, before Coldplay i didn't really care about music, and listened to stupid pop boybands, such as Five or N*sync (yes, i'm ashamed of it!). But now music is really important to me and i started to listen to a lot of other good stuff, like REM or Travis, even some of Queen...And i'll start taking guitar lessons, so they really have changed my life!

The hobbits from 'The lord of the rings' are all into Coldplay. One of them (Dominic Monaghan, who's also acting in 'Lost' these days) has bought some land from Future Forest right next to Coldplay's and he writes the word TREES on his hand, as Chris writes MTF; and he wears bands around his fingers in 'Lost', maybe that's about Chris's colored bands too... :idea2:

Sorry, i just read it today. I don't know if it's new, but i saw something with speed of sound, it was like a quiz...i didn't know jonny was in a rap band before??!!! And with another vid they did like a list of different bands and said what they asked to have on the room where they stay before the concert, you know...and they said coldplay always ask for 2 bottles of 3 different kinds of wine, and 48 bottles of non american beer... :rolleyes: They really enjoy their concerts!!! :P

Well, i think i would look like complete fool and do something really embarrasing, like falling down...and i'd totally forget everything i've learnt at my english classes...oh! what am i saying, :anxious: i'd forget how to breathe.

To me it's like growing up, things changing, and losing inocence...well, that's what it represents to me, but i think is really personal :rolleyes: That's why Coldplay lyrics are so good, i think, they mean different things to people, and depends on the mood you are when you listen to it, or even the period of your life you're going through...
