I've already got most of the songs off that disk. I need a few that I can't find anywhere though! :/ The studio version of One I Love is SOO classic, it so basic in sound compared to the live one on the DVD.

I think it was a joke. I LOVE We Never Chnage as well, great song.

Yeah, sorry, I take that back about Animals and We Never Change. I've listened to them a bit since posting and they have definatley grown on me. I can't think of any Coldplay song I don't like.

As if JT could ever even compare to the great Chris Martin. Mbe Cameron just wants to have children....just like Chris and Gwen! :rolleyes:

I'm not sure really how Chris and Gwen pulled off the discreet wedding, but I'm fairly sure stars like JT and Cameron Diaz are going to find it difficult ot be 'discreet'. Not that I'm saying Chris and Gwen aren't mega stars, theyr'e just better ;)

:cry: The Scientist... nuff said. Im not trying to argue. Im simply adding that as far as Politik goes, on the surface it sounds simple, yet underneath, the lyrics and bass line work away, drawing you in, until the climax where Will skillfully changes the beat and Johnnys riff changes, and the song lifts you higher than the original 'bashing' (if i can call it that) did. Basically i just like the song, its hard to justify liking something that isnt so black and white.

Yeah, I'm not sure how the advertising thing works... This is a stupid question, but have you guys seen the doco on the Live 2003 DVD? You know the part where they have the 'shortest radio edit ever' according to Chris and they play the woman talking about Coldplay's music and Will thinks it should be played at the concerts? I'm pretty sure the woman talking is on 'Back to the start'.

Yeah, its funny like that. I was never much of a fan of 'The Scientist' and I had never seen the video. But after seeing that, and it ripping my heart out, it changed my view of the song COMPLETLEY! I almost cried in the last few seconds as the car drives back into the forest with Chris' ohh ooooo's.

Its actually kinda funny watching the Coldplay image change. If you look back at the Shiver video, they look like a bunch of school kids (Space Invaders! Will and Guy!!!). I loved Chris' fro. But now, they look like geography teachers :lol: :lol:

Actually come to think of it, I wasn't much of a fan of that song either...

I don't think i can agree with some of this bagging of Politik. Chris says they just wanted a song where they could all just bash on their instruments, and if you think about that as the premise for writing a song, it turned out pretty bloody good! Best song: Shiver, Clocks, Politik (I could go on for at least 2 another albums worth! :D ) Worst: We Never Change, Animals

Yeah, i bought this "Back to the start" on eBay the other day. Its a DVD that goes for about 40-50 mins that has interviews with the guys old friends from school and stuff. For you Berryman fans (I know your out there!), there's an interview with the guy that owns the pub Guy used to work at. :cool: Unfortunatley, because its unofficial and not supported by the band or label, it has no Coldplay music in it. The book is "Look at the stars" and its much the same as the DVD, but it a book. :P I know you can get both on eBay and in some stores.

I posted a q on the coldplay.com q&a about moses being on the third album and debs told me, and many other ppl that posted the same thing that moses would not be on the album... :cry: I dont know about the others, i heard "Ladder to the sun" might be on it.
