  2. I play the same chords on both hands, right on the treble cleff notes, and the left on the bass cleft. I play it like this: C - F - Ab 8 times then --> Db - F - Ab 8 times then --> Eb - Bb - C 8 times then --> Eb - Ab - Bb 8 times then --> Eb - G - Bb 4 times, then back to the first chord. Hold on, let me post a real quick video of how it looks..
  3. are you talking about the fast powerful ending he starts after the Love over part? Right before the song ends? If so I just use the same chords he uses in the slow "Love over this.." except with a faster tempo, and it sounds fine to me...

And for a message, I really don't know the tuning off the top of my head, but you can just use a guitar Capo on the first fret and play these chords: x32010 022010 020010 320010 these are the verse 133211 <-- end of verse 1 and 2 then for the chorus: xx0231 x32010 320003 try those and see if they help at all

  8. this is a pretty neat idea, I actually just wrote a song about a week and a half ago, I'll see if I can record it onto my computer with decent quality

This is the correct tuning, he just strums a few times with every string open then he goes and does this: 333000 222000 111000 1xxxxx 111000 000000 listen to the song for the strumming pattern, it's basicly hit the 6th 5th and 4th string alone on the downstroke and then on the upstroke you hit the three open strings

  16. C# and F# is the chord you play, and then I hit B, A# and F# as eighth notes while still holding down C# and F#, then right after the eighth notes I hit Natural A,C# and E as a chord.

  18. what I do is: The first chord in the second measure, I hit B,C#,F# with my right hand, right after that chord I hit A# then F# with my thumb, then I adjust to hit the chord with these notes: A,C#,E Hope that helps alittle bit
  19. I was going to say the same thing, either that or figure out where it sounds wrong and find out what key would sound better.
  20. I would think you'd be able to use your old electric guitar cable, as long as it fits it should transmit the same type of signal. As for guitar strings, you can use regular acoustic strings and they will work fine when you plug it into your amp, BUT, I just found some acoustic/electric strings online: http://www.zzounds.com/item--DRSZAE11 they are made specifically for Acoustic/Electric they are wound up with both Nickel for electric and bronze for acoustic all the way up the string, and the sound comes out nice and clean and crisp.
  21. Hello, I remember seeing a thread on another Coldplay forum and it had a link to a website that sold baseball caps that johnny would sometimes wear. I cannot seem to find this link anywhere, and would really like to visit it again, it had quite a few sharp looking hats. If anyone knows of a couple websited please post them!

You want your left pinky on LOW C, and your left thumb on BASS C. and with your right hand, there are four parts, 1: you want your right thumb on MIDDLE C, your index finger on MIDDLE E, and your pinky on TREBLE C. 2: Right thumb on MIDDLE C, index finger on MIDDLE E, middle OR ring finger (whatever works best for you) on MIDDLE G, and your pinky on TREBLE C. 3: Thumb on MIDDLE C, Index finger on MIDDLE E, and pinky on MIDDLE B. 4: Thumb on MIDDLE C, index finger on MIDDLE E, middle or ring finger on MIDDLE G, and pinky on MIDDLE B. all these notes will be played in eighth notes, with the interval of four counts.
