  2. Be careful! Bitter almonds contain amygdalin and when it is hydrolized it produces hydrogen cyanide, which is an extremely poisonous compound. (You can get as much as 10mg of hydrogen cyanide per bitter almond) And no, I have not ever tasted a bitter almond. Normally, What's your favourite part of the day?
  3. 21:35 Listening to Yann Tiersen and being here.
  4. Not in my country... Actually, people here believe in that stereotype for European people... Like they don't like much to shower... And I've heard lots of stories. :P Ah, and the stereotype regarding Colombian people... You must have heard about it... People think you're a drug dealer and that your country is really terrible (when is not THAT bad). Oh... And you're asked for a freaking VISA almost everywhere you go... It's kind of sad.
  5. I want to be done with that laboratory inform SOON!
  6. ¡Nice pictures everyone! Gosh, It's been ages since I last posted a picture of myself here, so I don't know if it's appropiate anymore... However, we had such a good time at a local French Restaurant today! (My sister got civil married and the families went for breakfast together).

  18. That is great... Just tell them that you want to forgive them, but you need some time. They'll have to understand and accept that... And you shouldn't feel bad about it... Maybe trying not to think much about that anymore will be a good thing to start with.
  19. I think the goverment protects its people right, the problem I think is that no-one ever expected this to happen in the country ranked N°1 by the Human Development Index, with only 3.6% of unemployement and a Per capita income of more than 85 thousand dollars... Not under big international threats. Obviously the police could have acted more efficiently, but things like this are definitely hard to predict/avoid. It seems like he acted alone all the way, not as part of an organization that could have been tracked easier before anything of this could happen.
  20. He feels bad for what he did to you... So it's not really your fault. But you shouldn't force yourself to forgive him until you're actually ready to do-so. It usually needs some time to forgive and move on... And imo it could be a hurtful process if you stay together during this time. Well, that is just my opinion.
  21. When "really bad stuff" is done, I think it's better to move away for some time. Time usually heals this kind of things... And you'll eventually decide whether its best to be friends with this person again or not.
  22. Brandon Flowers - Crossfire
  23. It still amazes me how much harm a single person can cause to those around him and society. I wonder if the same applies to "doing good", it would be incredible.
