I just thought this morning, that maybe there will be some more tickets on Ticketmaster today. Well, too late again. :D But I wouldn't really have been able to get into London today anyways and furthermore find a place to stay. So I'm really happy you guys got your well deserved tickets! :)

Ah, a House thread! This show is my obsession. The two-parter was an amazing and unique piece of television. I hope they can carry this into the next season. I'm really curious to find out how Wilson and House will deal with all that and I think it will make for a very interesting storyline.

As I said before, I went to two BBC recordings this year and nobody checked my (or other people's) ID. I really doubt they will check the names against a guestlist. They might just check it against the name on the ticket.

Dann komme ich hier einfach mal reingeschneit. Ich war früher immer recht aktiv im offiziellen Forum und erinnere mich noch an den guten alten "Coldplay spielen in Hamburg!"-Thread. :D In den letzten Jahren war ich dann nicht mehr ganz so aktiv im Internet in Sachen Coldplay unterwegs, aber inzwischen ist das Fieber wieder ausgebrochen. Wie könnte es auch anders sein. Da das offizielle Forum ja so gut wie tot ist, klebe ich in den letzten Wochen vermehrt hier fest. Vielleicht erinnert sich der ein oder andere ja noch an mich. Mir sind schon ein paar bekannte Namen aufgefallen. ;)

That' really unfortunate, Dean. :( But I can understand your point and 200 quid is a lot of money. You might try to give your tickets to somebody else. Maybe somebody who lives in London anyways and wouldn't need to spend a lot of time and money to get to the studio (in case they get turned down). I really don't know how strict they will be this evening (and they could very well be really strict and check everybody's ID), but I went to two BBC recodings this year and both times I only showed my ticket. Nobody was asked for ID.

On the ticket it says it's outside. Also in the Radio Times description: "To celebrate Viva's arrival, Chris Martin and friends perform a free, live gig on a specially built stage outside BBC Television Centre in west London." And I guess it won't last much longer than the 45 minutes that are broadcasted. But I'll be happy nevertheless. I think the BBC and the Brixton concert are just very different with different benefits and drawbacks. In the end I'm just grateful to be able to go to one of them. :)

I read in the official forum yesterday that there was indeed an email from Ticketmaster in the morning, saying: "Dear Coldplay fan, A very limited number of extra tickets have now been released for Coldplay at the Carling Academy Brixton on Monday, 16 June 2008. Tickets will be available from mid-day on Thursday 12th June on a 1st come basis. Please note, there is a ticket limit of two per person. To apply for your tickets by clicking on the above Find Tickets link." So some very lucky guys were on the mailing list and got informed. ;)

Why is it pending? Did they tell you anything about it?
