i havnt heard it yet, but i really like the bassy sound in the live version. do you think i'd like the studio version? it's the same thing for arobth, i had listened to the live version for a long time then when i heard the version they recorded for the album i didn't like it. same with animals :shrug:

I saw them in 98 at Maple Leaf Gardens, in 2000 at the Summersault festival and last November at the free show at the ACC. The show at the ACC was BY FAR the best I have seen them. I was totally amazed at how amazing they were and how amazing the crowd was. I thought the ACC was going to be filled with people who don't like them but just wanted to go to a free concert, but that wasn't it at all. Everyone was a hardcore fan, and EVERYONE sang along to most of the songs. Superman's Dead was one of the best performances that night, I don't think one person in the entire place was not signing along. It was great.

Oh well I think he is co-headlining a summer tour with Counting Crows so I am hoping they will do a Toronto date. They haven't announced any dates yet as far as I know.

I'm going to smack my friend who goes to York for not telling me :oops: But I have seen him live twice, well the first time we just caught the last song he performed and the second time was a longer set. So maybe 1.5 times I've seen him. More like 1.2 I guess :lol: :P

That's why I am a tad worried bout the TO show. Like it's the second last date of the tour, they will be dead tired. I paid $62 for these tickets...But I still think it will be good, and it will be a big improvement for me from the ACC show cos my seats weren't so great. I had the last row of the 100 section.

You're fucking kidding :x If those fucking Grade 12s get in over us somebody will have to pay :x I want them to be the ones screwed over not us. They can still stay next year to raise their average, we can't.

They were the first concert I went to. I used to like them a lot, and I still do like them just not as much as let's say, Coldplay. Gravity is ok. I hated it at first but it has grown on me. You can tell they were trying hard to make a mainstream album that would be popular in The States. I think that is why Mike left. But good for them for having more of an audience in The States. My favourite songs are Automatic Flowers, Are you sad?, 4am and Superman's Dead. They are pretty good live too. I've seen them 3 times :) Raine is absolutely insane and at times scary.
