Queen Victoria's Birthday always lands on the third (or is it fourth) Monday in May for us Canadians. Thank god for not having work today!! Back to work tomorrow :(

i saw doves last monday at the kool haus in toronto it was AMAZING. it was so good. i didn't have high expectations as i've been a bad fan and didn't listen to some cities til the day of the concert :embarrased: but the concert was unbelievable and i have been listening non-stop. but i hated mercury rev who opened. here is somebody else's review of that concert with photos http://www.livejournal.com/community/the_cedar_room/41645.html

i meant to ask you about this before, then the board went down, then i forgot. is there really parking near the kool haus for $3? my dad claims that parking is expensive in the area, especially if there is an event at the ACC going on. i'm trying to figure out what my options are... i would definitely park for $3. NO no, that was for the Opera House. When we parked near Kool Haus it was like $10. that makes a lot more sense..
