  2. its a great viedo, i love the bit where he swings the light bulb in front of the crowd. :) Just a shame the rest of the band aren't walking around at the start of the video with chris
  3. sounds like a fantastic gig, hope somebody recorded it. :)
  4. hmmmmm i dunno about this normally the band never do 4 gigs one after the other. Also they will probably sell out these gigs and add second nights after each one maybe i'm wrong but just a thought
  5. the band may do an arena tour i the UK in december, but i think they will do an arena tour in the uk next year.
  6. my favorite song for today is Jameriqui - feels just like it should love the guitar riff, very funky :)

  8. Hi Just wondered if anyone from this forum is going to the show at the Air Canada Centre; Toronto, Canada on 2nd august (tomorrow). If anybody is going i hope they can tell us all about the show on the forum afterwards. Just thinking that the band might make a few changes to the set, you never know :) Would be great if someone is able to record this gig Thanks Steve
  9. talk And I'm looking for an answer just like you
  10. hmmmm :/ this is hard here goes One I Love (such a rocker) Crests of waves (very uplifting) Animals (very dark) Brothers and sisters (the version on the trouble single) i ran away (like wills drumming) on the substitutes bench careful where you stand I'd put 'see you soon' in the top five but i suppose its not a b side
  11. i like the way the whole band takes part in the acoustic set playing different insturments, its not something bands normally do on stage :)
  12. well i do like til kingdom come, i supose i'd keep it in there, in the acoustic set :)
  13. the band may announce some smaller gigs, maybe arenas, for december but they will do some more shows in the UK next year :)
  14. hmmmm :/ I think i'd like Square One Politik Yellow God Put A smile upon your face speed of sound low one i love (love this one, a real rocker) everythings not lost white shadows the scientist a message (acousic with all the band contibuting with guitar and piano) don't panic (acoustic like they've been doing on this tour) clocks talk what if in my place poor me (haha they won't play it again but i can hope!) fix you
  15. yeah great song. was one of the first coldplay songs i heard too. I remember at the time i just thought it had a real contempory feel to it, quite modern. I've always liked the other b side from the yellow single 'help is around the corner'. apparently the band were recording it in parr street studios in liverpool but they left the window open and at the end of the track you can hear traffic. :)
  16. solid ground I'm OK, I've seen the lighter side of life
  17. the band will play in australlia at some point on this tour. Theres still time this year for a few dates in december, but like busybeeburns says i would have thought it will be early next year
  18. Hi I'm sure most of the people on this board already know this but according to Debs, who helps run the official coldplay website, the band don't allow their music to be used to advertise a product. They may allow their music be used for films, I think clocks was on the soundtrack for the peter pan movie. However the band has no control over the use of their music in trailers as this usage falls under a blanket agreement and the tv companies have the right to use music without permission. so if the bbc, itv, hbo or abc want to use coldplays music in a trailer for a tv programme, they can. You can find out about this on the official coldplay website in the Q&A section just put adverts in the search box
  19. Politik I wonder what it's all about
  20. thanks for posting these pictures of the bolton gig busybeeburns they llok great :) I went to the show at Crystal Palace on the 27th June and i thought it was big but your photos make the bolton show look massive! Love the photo of the fireworks during fix you, i remember it made me jump  and i knew it was coming as i'd seen the glastonbury footage on TV  A peice of the firework landed on my head to, at first I thought the bulb chris swings had exploded and hit me  Thanks alot Steve
