  1. I love the video, it fits the music very well (or the other way around, considering that the song was written for the movie).
  2. [video=youtube;nHAdbn2e_QQ] At 4.15 you can see just one of many examples of him throwing the guitar and the guitar hitting the floor, but not breaking. I don't remember in which interview they mentioned that the guitars were hardly ever seriously broken, I watched too many of them ;) Another example here from 4.21:
  3. They did tour in big numbers with MX where he used to throw the guitar every time at the end of GPASUYF. I remember that someone mentioned that these guitars hardly ever break. Sometimes some little repairs were necessairy and just once or twice something got broken that couldn't be fixed. It's not a guitar that Chris uses on more than one song per concert, so there's usually no hurry fixing whatever gets broken.
  4. I haven't, but you can find it in this Youtube playlist:

I think you're probably reading a little bit too much into these interviews. Chris is quite often just kidding around in interviews and making things up, and I think we should just believe Will's statement that the band wasn't seriously upset about Chris revealing the name of the next album. And I think we can be rather sure that everything about Jonny being mad at Chris was just Chris kidding around. Will stated himself how very unlikely it is for Jonny to get mad at all ("once every ten years") and Chris said Jonny had taken him aside, taken the microphone away from him and forbidden him to sing for an hour as a punishment. He was obviously not being serious there and I'm sure if Jonny had really been upset with him Chris would NEVER be kidding around about it like that. I don't think that there was more tension than usual in any one of them. Guy didn't seem tense to me and Jonny has never been comfortable giving interviews . Chris and Will seemed normal to me, just like almost every interview I've heard with them up to now. Chris has always been doing solo performances between tours and I think the collaboration with Avicii didn't take place without consent of the band: It just took some convincing. And even this convincing didn't concern the song or the collaboration itself, just its inclusion into "Ghost Stories". Considering how Chris keeps encouraging the others to bring in their own ideas and start their own songs - remember how happy he was that Guy started Magic - and his reaction to the question if he's considering a solo career ("No. No. GOD NO!) earlier this year, I don't think there's any need to worry for the future of the band.
  6. It was no disappointment at all. They put 110% into every song they performed, the audience was great and also the light show they put on - especially the one during clocks - was impressive. The only thing people seem to be disappointed about is the amount of songs. But I think the posts above explain very well why they were performing for "only" 80 minutes and I can't understand that after such a great performance some people can only complain about not getting a few songs more instead of just appreciating what they got.
  7. Well, they played an 80-min-gig, so you're basically complaining about 10 missing minutes. And they put a lot of power in these 80 minutes AND they did play a lot of classics (at least I didn't expect The Scientist and Fix You and GPASUYF). I also wish they had played Oceans and O (Fly on), but they can't please everyone and I'm certainly not going to complain about this really great performance which to me was worth all the money I payed for it (and I couldn't even see the stage nor the screen because I'm small and everone was filming in front of me ALL THE TIME. But you won't hear me complain about that disrespectful behaviour of the FANS). I recorded the whole concert on my dictaphone (in my handbag where it didn't bother anyone during the concert) and as far as I could hear it doesn't sound too bad. I'm going to upload it in few days, but at the moment I'm still in Munich and won't have time to do so.
  8. Oops, sorry I posted the link in the wrong section. It's never a good idea to be doing ten things simultaniously ;)
  9. Ok, here's a download link for a HD video (m2ts file / blu-ray quality). For those who can't watch/convert this file, I'm also uploading a converted mp4 file at the moment. http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/threads/103595-5th-Dec-14-A-Sky-Full-Of-Stars-live-on-The-Voice-Germany?p=5699978#post5699978
  10. I'm uploading a HD version at the moment, but it's going to take quite some time.
  11. "The winner is going to be informed on short notice" I wonder if they're going to inform the winner more than a few hours before the concert starts. According to my latest experience with ExLibris I wouldn't be surprised if this happened . . . No, obviously I'm just being sarcastic. It's a great opportunity to win tickets including transport and hotel.
  12. I guess my computer was much more excited than I was ;)
  13. Sorry, triple post. Don't know what my computer was up to . . .
  14. YES! Finally on a channel that I'm going to be able to record in HD on my Blu-ray recorder :laugh3: (ok, admittedly I could have done that with France 2 and BBC One as well earlier this year, but I was neglectful enough to miss those opportunities. Not this time though).
  15. So it's off to Munich on December 6th for me too. My first Coldplay concert :laugh3::lol::gs: How very convenient that December 8th is actually a holiday where I live so I can stay in Munich for one day more before I have to get back to work :) Sorry, I didn't want to brag. I'm just happy I was lucky enough to get tickets, but I feel very sorry for everyone who hasn't! I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that there are going to be many many returns so people on here can still get a ticket.
  16. Thank you all very much :) I'm just happy to be able to give this forum something back after having downloaded a lot of files from the multimedia section in the past! But I never expected to end up as member of the month for that.
  17. I understand "I saw the film get broken inside" - but he's mumbling quite a bit, so I might be wrong :laugh3:
  18. As no has uploaded anything yet for two days and to prevent myself from forgetting what I promised I uploaded the recording of the chanel 4hd broadcast in the multimedia thread. The other file that I have is so big that it would take days to up- and download.
  19. You mean like this:
  20. In case you don't have it, I have two files of this performance that I could upload: A 6.39 GB MKV file recorded from sky sport HD without commentary and a 1.96 GB MKV file recorded from 4hd without commentary. But I'm not going to start uploading them before I know if you're uploading something, I don't think people need the same file twice ;)
  21. Sorry, I just chose the first file name that came to mind. I haven't even listened to it myself. Feel free to rename it whatever you like ;)
  22. You could download it directly here: http://free.mp3songurls.com/1381391.mp3 Right mouse click and "save as . . ." Or you can use my mediafire link posted above.
