Yes - it's a 'contorted' hazel. There are other trees that grow like this - e.g. contorted willow. ( ... and that's all today folks from your friendly garden expert )

Same here - I've been waiting for a comment or even a recognising look but - nothing ! I saw a guy wearing a AHFOD T shirt and spoke to him immediately and compared gigs we'd been to. Where are all the fans hiding themselves ?

Gosh ! what a coincidence. I watched this on YouTube just yesterday after not seeing it for ages. Must be the Olympics made me think of it. Yes, it was great !

Phew - what a relief to know I'm not the only 'older' Coldplayer. ( but remember - a lady never tells her age ). Don't let anything stop you from getting to a concert - it will knock years off your age ! I promise. I've been to 4 gigs, 2 recent AHFOD gigs, the 2nd one I was on my feet for 5 hours and my back was killing me BUT it was the best thing ever. CP have given me a whole new outlook on life over the past few years and I feel like a teenager again ! Don't ever give up ! Keep on chatting here and you'll be surrounded by amazing people from all over the world. :gossip:

Oh that was glorious ! Just simple, basic, wonderful Coldplay.......... I know their concerts now are totally magic - but - I'd love to see a performance like this again.

Yes - I saw it too. Chris was very good-natured and did dance with him for a few seconds, but then, quite forcefully, let him know it was time to get off the stage. He made some funny remark about the guy being a YTS dancer on £2.50 an hour - or something like that. All very worrying really, when you think what could happen...... :anxious:
