  1. Great to hear more Coldplayers got tickets today. Also great to hear that the touts are still trying (my row and block for a modest £2,398.47!
  2. Nope, that's not the case (that's always been there.) If you click the buy tickets link, it says this: "- On rare occasions, tickets may only be available through third parties. Please check the event page for more details. Please note that tickets for Coldplay will only be available to buy from http://www.gigsandtours.com from 9.30am on 6 June" "
  3. If you want tickets, now is your chance. (Actually, these seats are better than mine!)
  4. So, this little jewel arrived this morning :)
  5. Well, you can be the most excited North Walian then :)
  6. Pfff.... you're not even the most excited person in Wales! Can't wait for this. My 1st Coldplay gig, and what a place to go for it! Anyway, great to hear that a lot more people got tickets for the gig. See you there! (JUST 6 DAYS TO GO NOW!)
  7. Pfff.... you're not even the most excited person in Wales! Can't wait for this. My 1st Coldplay gig, and what a place to go for it!
  8. Congratulations everyone! Enjoy the gig!
  9. Won't be free I'm afraid cheeetaz. In other news, tickets are starting to be sent out!
  10. https://www.seetickets.com/customerservice (Click Live Dispatch News) Up to 20% now. Looks like they're sending 1st July before 2nd. Doesn't take long to send out 10,000 tickets though so they'll all be dispatched by tomorrow I think.
  11. There were certainly a few helpful hints from people who got tickets for the 1st gig, making the 2nd ticket sale easier.
  12. The main reason they send them so late is to stop touting, but it does get worrying when the event gets so close. They'll probably arrive June 27th/28th ish
  13. Seen: Stereophonics + Kitty Daisy and Lewis- Cardiff Motorpoint Arena 25/11/13 Upcoming: Coldplay + Alunageorge- Royal Albert Hall, London 02/07/14 Want to See: Ed Sheeran Muse The Killers U2 Imagine Dragons Snow Patrol Kaiser Chiefs Bastille Kings of Leon (Probably would have gone to their gig in Swansea had it not clashed with Coldplay)
  14. I expect a similar sort of release to Mylo. 2015 Festivals to show off the new songs with the album coming out September/October 2015 and a 2016 megatour/2015 Arena Tour. It could possibly be released before festival season with an extended Arena run though. In terms of style, I think we know they are going to make a more commercial album.
  15. Sadly, it just didn't work. In concept, it was a good idea, but the final video was poor. It did not suit the song at all.
  16. I think Coldplay did as much as possible to prevent scalping for this gig with the limitations. I don't think any went directly to scalpers. Of course, some people are always going to look to profit from their spare ticket, but with the insane prices they are charging, I don't think they'll shift them. If there were tickets that went to scalpers, blame the promoter and Gigs and Tours, calling for their manager to resign is a bit uncalled for. Also, I think tickets did go to fans. Loads of people on here (including myself) managed to get a ticket. The small capacity of the venue will have made getting tickets 10 times harder, but it was possible. Demand greatly exceeded supply for this.
  17. Turns out that they are sending tickets abroad then. Basically, you have the choice of having them sent to you or you can pick them up at the box office at the Royal Albert Hall on the day of the show.
  18. Ok cool, dunno whether or not to listen to it given that I'm going to the 2nd July gig.
  19. Considering that I was in Tokyo when these songs were announced, Lovers In Japan would be very apt. Talk would be nice too, as would White Shadows and Glass of Water. Doubt any of those will be played though since only Lovers was played on the Mylo Tour. Edit: Don't Panic, definitely Don't Panic, and Green Eyes. I paid £95, I expect some classics!
  20. 0% Dispatched means that none of the tickets have been sent out yet. You might want to contact Gigs and Tours because they have said that tickets would not be sent abroad on their Facebook (instead being left at RAH's box office for you.)
  21. Farrington isn't that far from RAH, about 25 mins if the traffic is ok. If you're really worried about not making it, take the tube (1 stop to Kings Cross then Piccadilly line to Knightsbridge). In terms of stage timings, it will probably be 9pm, possibly 8:45 at the earliest. However, it won't be confirmed until a week or two before. Damn it! I was hoping it would be someone else. I've heard of them and they weren't really my cup of tea.
  22. You'll be fine! (from http://life.royalalberthall.com/2013/05/25/view-from-your-seat/ )
  23. Hasn't been confirmed for this date though. I've heard of her, but I hope she isn't the support for the 2nd date. Not really my type of music. I'd have thought they would have confirmed it if she was the support act by now though.
  24. I think the band did whatever they could within reasonable means to stop touting. The only other thing they could have done was to require the guest's name. Many ticket holders were unsure whether or not their partner could make it. If they had to put the name of the guest on the ticket and they cannot go, that's a useless ticket = empty seat.
