1. I also dropped a tear or two when I listened to it on the Zane Lowe interview, and I've cried to it afterwards also (even though in more sad situations). But I almost never cry to music, so it was a really special moment for me. I wasn't at all prepared for a so beautiful song to be played during that interview - that was maybe a reason. :)
2. Firstly, they developed my interest for music a lot! I discovered how wonderful music can be and really got into a lot of other bands to. But especially, they were like the band I always had wanted to find. Their style was simply the style I preferred. The alternative rock style with synths, guitar and piano. Lovely melodies and touching vocals. Before I started listening to Coldplay, I didn't know how much I ned them. Then, they have also touched me with messages and lyrics in a helping way during a lot of situations the latest couple of years - especially periods of depression and sorrow. The thing about alchemizing thins - the message from GS and AHFOD - is something I've tried to apply in my life as much as possible. Though it's hard sometimes (enjoying everything, good and bad), I take steps forwards all the time. (Haha, here we are Coldplayers, unconditionally loving our pain since 2014) <3 But that's the only way I think. See it as angel wings instead of a broken heart.
3. Oh they are all great openers ... but if I have to vote down any of them, it will be Don't Panic, though I like that song a lot! #politikandahfodandalwaysinmyheadftw
4. I think she meant Parachutes, cause they met before the release of AROBTTH, or am I wrong? And the song in the background though ... :)
5. I also wonder about that! I'm traveling to Berlin to see them, so of course I will try to wait outside their hotel. Let's keep in contact if anyone of us get any information or tips about this! :) Best regards from Sweden!
6. I'm also seeing them in Berlin! I have seen them once (2012) and I have been a huge fan since 2011. This summer I'm seeing them 6 times. I would love if you could share anything about your experiences, like how the first, second and first shows did feel compared to like the 20th, 30th or 40th haha! You're so lucky that you've seen the band so many times! Best regards from Sweden!
7. I will be posting when I'm done. Right now, my plan is to make two jackets - one inspired by the red one Guy Berryman wore during the Viva Tour, and one inspired by the blue one Chris wore. I have bought some ribbons to put around the arms (in different colours). I bought the jackets on second hand and I got both for around 10 euro in total (100 SEK) :D I also ordered some english flags to sew on to the jackets. And I'll try to paint a white shirt to wear under, with that red "V" Chris used. So it will all be mostly Viva la Vida inspired I think :) Here you have Guy's and Chris's jackets that I'll try to remake. THE BEST THING is that the red jacket has size 42!!! :D Here you have some pics of the jackets I bought on the local second hand shop haha:
8. Hello Coldplayers! I am currently making some own Coldplay clothes inspired from the Viva era for the concerts ahead this summer. I'm beyond excited! However, I would love to colour or paint them with some holo-inspired colors, like the band use to do before concerts. (Like a string of red or blue on some black pants.) Has anyone done it, or do have any tips of which type of colour to use? :)
9. Hi! Does anyone now any Graffiti Wall with a Coldplay theme somewhere in Europe? I would love to find it and take some pictures! :D
10. That was in my opinion the best moment of the night. First, hearing Politik - one of my favourite songs of all time - and they haven't played it live since 2011 what I know. And then - Midnight - in a stadium with lasers. The coolest thing ever!
11. Did you see that there are some more text under ASFOS on that setlist? Even if it's real, there's probably Fix You and Up&up after ASFOS. And I don't understand why they would skip Charlie Brown if they are using Xylobands ...
12. How do you feel, Coldplayers who are going? :D It's just ten days now ... you must be feeling crazy, right? :D
13. I have been considering this a lot, if I just should turn of all my social media and live in a bubble until my first show (in 87 days, Wembley). However, I've already seen the pictures of the (probably) stage for the tour, and well, it makes me really thrilled. It gonna be really hard to avoid YouTube-clips and setlists, but I'll give it a try ... Won't promise myself anything haha :cheesy:
14. When I saw them live 2012 (the only time I've seen them), I had a phone with a bad camera, and I just got a few short clips with bad quality, since my memory card became full ... But these short clips meant a lot to me. I think there's nice to have some photos and clips, but the quality of them is not the important thing. There will always be clips on YouTube if you really wanna experience it all again. I will experience it live as much as possible! :)
15. They will probably announce some more dates later on in Europe, in late September/October or around that time :)
16. Hey, I am going to the Stockholm concert (since I live in Sweden) and also the two gigs in Copenhagen :) In Stockholm I will have companion with some others who are more or less the same Coldplay-crazy as I am :) In Copenhagen, I still have no companionship for the first night (5th of July). I have a standing ticket in Stockholm and the first night in Copenhagen :)
17. On the lifestream in the first post it's just some football that is played ... just for me?
18. Maybe this fandom has went to far ... I have the influenza, I'm so tired, it's 1:45 am in my country, and probably the live stream won't work, but I still have the hope ...
19. I'm quite sure the last song on the recording is Adventure of a Lifetime ... according to the rhythm Will is playing the drums :) And also the AHFOD-Kaleidoscope-effects on the stage floor! :)
20. Hi, I'm an 19 year old guy from Sweden who are searching for company during the concert in Copenhagen July the 5:th. As a huge fan, it would make this amazing experience even better! It doesn't matter who you are, cause if you gonna see Coldplay, you're just great! :D (I have general admission tickets)
21. Well, then I think they start their North American tour as fast as they can after the last European dates this summer! :)
22. My guess according to previous tours and setlists, with things like the way of starting with the album opener; the way they use the different stages; and the way they do the encore with an massive ending, I would guess on a setlist such as this one, with motivations in (XXX). NOTE ONE THING! As Chris and Jonny mentioned in the interview at BBC Radio 2 this week, they are going to let people wish songs for this tour (Chris mentioned Spies from Parachutes as an example). I would guess they mostly will choose to do that with quite acoustic songs, because the more powerful ones often has a special kind of live show. (Those songs could fit in well where I have written: Some Acoustic from Parachutes/AROBTTH). But who knows ... I would more than love the ability to wish all kind of songs ... Main Stage: 1. Colour Spectrum + A Head Full Of Dreams (the album opener and the album "ambient song" theme) 2. Yellow (they love to have a real classic as song number 2 - only real great bands use to do that) "Chris chats a bit with the audience" 3. Paradise (They have played Paradise in the beginning of a lot of shows recently.) 4. Birds (An upbeat track from the latest album early in the setlist like Major Minus live 2012.) 5. Violet Hill (A must-play on stadium gigs!) 6. The Scientist (A perfect song to calm down the audience after Violet Hill) 7. Army of One (It's time for something from the new album!) 8. Adventure of a Lifetime (I don't think they can wait to play this energetic funky song longer than this.) 9. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall (Now when they have so many great ending-songs, why not end the first set with this one?) B-stage (on the catwalk, where the band still can use all instruments, including drums) 10. Magic (A calmer song that people love - a must play even in a stadium - and perfect after ETIAW.) 11. Fun (PoC was a duett as well as Fun, and PoC was played on the B-stage 2012.) 12. Everglow (I get an Up in Flames-feeling of this song, and UiF was played just after PoC 2012.) Main Stage (Kaleidoscope is played, including The Guest house, as the band changes stage) 14. Clocks (The perfect song to re-take the main stage with ...) 15. God Put A Smile Upon Your Face (... so why not continue with the rocky theme?) 16. Viva la Vida (Now the atmosphere is in its best mood - so it's time for some sing-along!) 17. Hymn for the Weekend (A really uplifting song I think will fit really well here) 18. Amazing Day (A great song to fool the audience that the concert is over before the C-stage and encore.) C-stage in the audience: 19. O (Fly on) (The band come up one-by-one, like how they did during Us Against The World 2012.) 20. Amsterdam/Don't Panic/Spies/Sparks (Or maybe both song 19 and 20 are "the audience choice".) Main Stage (encore): 21. A Sky Full of Stars (The perfect encore, just saying ...) 22. Fix you (This song deserves a place here!) 23. Up&up (The song they've wanted to write for 15 years ... the perfect ending!)
23. If you look at the tour schedule for the Mylo Tour, they did a lot of gigs in Europe in May/June 2012, before their U.S. tour from late June to early August. Then, they headed back to Europe for some gigs in late August and September. Yet, no gigs has been announced in Italy, Portugal and France, but my guess would be an U.S. tour before they are heading back to Europe - like how they did the last world tour. :) Since the european tour ends in the beginning of July this time, we should expect them to come to the U.S. in late July/August/September. I would guess one more leg in Europe after that, and then some gigs in India and Australia - like how they ended the Mylo Tour in that part of the world. But well, it's just a guess ... :)
