This song is a sleeper hit on me. Everyone is saying this is a forgettable track, but I have to disagree

I haven't been on the forums as much as I've wanted. I was worried when I saw mostly everyone here was just bashing on AHFOD just by listening to AOAL. I have not listened to the live debuts of AHFOD and Up&Up and I'm planning to stay that way until the album comes out. I'm glad almost everyone is looking forward to AHFOD now that they've heard those two. I always stand by one of my rules in which one has to listen to the entire album in order to appreciate each individual song. Anyways, those dancing monkeys during the lads' AMA performance surprised me and I was delighted (jeez so many surprises this era lads!). I can't believe the album is coming out just next week!

What the hell happened to this thread. Hahaha yes American politics has been a joke the past couple of years, but this is no place to argue that. Take Obama's contribution for what it is. The lads have a grand vision for AHFOD and Obama's part is just a small bit of this grand painting.

What was everyone expecting? The lads performing on top of a pyramid of disco-garbed people dancing? This era has been full of curveballs. I'm expecting this music video to be the same.

So we got my boy President Obama, Tove Lo, Noel Gallagher, Beyoncé, and Merry Clayton. Wow. Also about the interludes. What the hell. Now we practically have the length of Ghost Stories. Maybe even less if the interludes are almost the same length as MMIX or MX

First reggae AOAL, now primate AOAL. What is this era?! lol I hope they have a behind the scenes video along with the MV because there's some meme worthy snippets in the snippet lol

I believe they are referring to the noise after the incomprehensible chants. I have no idea what that is.. At one point, I thought it was one of the band members voices pitched really high. Then I thought it was an Er hu or a cheeky Davide Rossi violin.

When I first heard AOAL when it premiered I was so surprised. I never thought the song would go the funky groovey route. It was so good that I went and bought it on Google music and preordered the physical CD version. No doubt this will be Viva 2.0

Originally, when the lads said that you could shuffle your feet to AHFOD, I thought they'd go the route of ASFOS, but nope they threw a curve ball to us coldplayers yet again! This a good infusion of Daft Punk's Random Access Memories and 80's. Jonny is channeling Nile Rodgers, Guy is being groovy, Will has his real drums with the glass playing, and Chris has a dreamy quality to his singing. I hope I'm not alone in preordering this album...

To be honest the snippet teaser started to annoy me, but after what they did on Adventure of A Lifetime turned my opinion upside-down

We got some funky Guy bass lines, We got Jonny channeling Nile Rodgers, we got a dreamy Chris voice, and Will is playing his real drums and the glass cup is back!! So this is what they meant when they said you could "shuffle your feet to it"
