i hate my teacher i hate my teacher i hate my teacherrrrrrrr!!! well, now i've said it i feel better! i've spent months to read and read and read stupid books for nothing :(

well it depends on which result you want to obtain :) it's easy to begin and practice it for your pleasure but for competitions it's harder (i guess it's the same for all sports anyway) , you need a lot of concentration, a good bow that you know well and that you can adjust to your strength, your arrows... and you need a lot of training to be at ease with the gesture. it's a sport that requires a lot of precision. anyway, it's really a good sport to forget about everything: when you shoot you're concentrated on your target and nothing else counts :) moreover, like angler said it's super when we can shoot outside, there are a lot of different categories of shooting: you can shoot indoors or outdoors at different distances, you also have the shouting in forest... :) the only problem is that it is a very expensive sport :cry:

i'm a bit embarassed to ask something to people i don't really know :embarrased: here is my problem: I'm actually making a dissertation for my research degree. It deals with phonology and more precisely with intonation, specially in questions/answers pairs. I have to work on a sequence of the Britiish version of who wants to be a millionaire i have recorded in october while i was in london for a week end. my problem is that for my work i have to write all the sequence but sometimes i don't understand what is said :embarrased: i have written almost every thing but there are still some gaps i don't succeed in hearing. I have recorded the part i work on in mp3. If someone has the time, can you help me in filling in the gaps? I can send you the mp3 and the word document i have written. I would really really be grateful for it.

i think like you Pai,, what we like or not depends on our mood, sometimes we feel like listening to something rather sad, sometimes we prefer something more fun... sometimes we only put music but dion't really listen to it's a background noise! i like coldplay very much but i also like other bands and according to my mood i listen to what i want, i can't say i have a really favourite band but i don't think it's very grave :)
