I saw Coldplay last night and I was in the pit at the railing on the side that Jonny stands on. I was blown away by him and his guitar playing and although my eyes were mainly on Chris, I was looking over at Jonny because he's very handsome in person. He is also an incredible guitar player.

I am still on cloud nine from the concert last night, but I just keep thinking how absolutely spectacular Chris was. He really does take your breath away when you see him live. Not to not recognize the other members of the band, because they are great too.

By far... it was last night at the Coldplay concert in San Diego when I was at the railing in the pit and Chris threw his water bottle to the audience and I caught it!

Thank you all. Everyone thinks I am crazy that I didn't drink out of the bottle AND that I am nuts for keeping the bottle. HELLO! It's Chris Martin!

My dear friends, I thought I would share this story here. Last night I was in the pit (right up at the rail) at the Coldplay concert in San Diego. The most incredible thing happened to me. They were getting ready to sing "Life is for Living" and Chris had just take a long swig from his Arrowhead water bottle. Everything that happened next seemed to happen in slow motion. He looked out to the audience towards where I was standing and he chucked his half empty water bottle to the audience. Right at my area! I reached out and grabbed it. It like landed perfectly in my hand. I jumped up and down like a little kid! Meanwhile he was looking right at me smiling and laughing and the people next to me started hugging me. Chris seemed very amused by the whole thing. Then he started to sing the song and was looking at me and singing the song with feeling. I was absolutely amazed! It was the best experience. So, now I have this water bottle that I need to frame! :) By the way ladies... as if Chris couldn't possibly get any sexier... he is like even more sexier in person. Seriously, he took my breath away. And you know, Jonny Buckland ain't bad either. After seeing him up close. That's all...

My dear friends, Last night I went to the Coldplay concert in San Diego. I had GA seats. We made the two hour trip and got there around noon. We immediately went to the Cox Arena to check out if there were any lines already being formed. When we arrived there were about 4 people in line already. So, I told my husband that I wanted to wait it out. He went off to get lunch and hang out for a while. Meanwhile, I sat there for a good 7 hours to guarantte that I would get a good spot in the front. After all that waiting, they finally open the doors and start distributing wristbands. My husband and I took off running to the front. We got a spot slightly to the left of the stage but I was at the railing. I have NEVER been that close before. But I have to say, it was so worth the wait! I will never forget this show... EVER!

:) I only have one more week till Coldplay in San Diego. I am going to drive 2 hours to go see them because I got general admission seats. I cannot wait! June 3rd BABY!

This is lame. Why would she have dumped him? Last I heard they were doing great. I mean come on... would you dump him?

What ever happened to Phil Harvey? Did Phil Harvey go on to manage other bands? To my knowledge he is no longer managing Coldplay right? :D

I am curious if anyone here went to the live mini-concert that they did outside the Jimmy Kimmel show? I am curious if they continued to play for the fans even after the show was over. On TV they only showed Clocks and half of their performance of Yellow. Does anyone know if they continued to play after that??? Details... I need details!

On a radio station out here in Los Angeles that had just finished playing a Coldplay song mentioned that they will be "coming back to town sometime in early 03'." After almost losing control of my vehicle... I was shocked to here this. I have seen their 2nd leg US Tour dates, BUT I didn't see L.A mentioned. Has ANYONE heard anything about them coming back to Los Angeles?? Can anyone confirm for me? THANK YOU, Jen

That's actually VERY impressive being that Coldplay have only been around for so little time. I was stoked that Doves made it to the list! WAAA-HOOO!!! :)

I feel it inside me to really learn a instrument and write music. I play around and write "lyrics" but I don't have the musical talent to put it to music. Two years ago my parents got me a guitar for Christmas and I played around with it, but didn't get serious about it. Actually holding down the strings hurt my hands (I have really skinny hands). So, I got discouraged. But I have this bug in me to be creative in this way. My brother (who can pick up anything and learn it... I've nicknamed him Radiohead), says it's best to start with a keyboard. Does anyone have any opinions on this? I want to learn, but I want it to be easy to learn. Thanks~ 8) Jen

Oh... it's the British accent that does it for me. I go completely weak in the knees. All I have to say is Chris Martin is a complete package for me. :P

It seems like our boys are REALLY working non-stop. I get concerned with them burning out. I mean, they have done a lot of promoting of this album. Is anyone else concerned? :? Jen

Now, I am a married women so I cannot partake in this... BUT I found out this morning that Chris Martin is no longer dating Gwyeth Paltrow. She apparently broke off the relationship after two months (is the girl high?) and has begun dating some prince from some land. ;) So, he is back on the market ladies. I have enjoy this at a great distance. :silly: Jen

:-) Okay, so I didn't get to go see KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas concert, but I DID hear about Coldplay's performance on KROQ's Kevin and Bean show this morning. Many people who were going to see groups like, The Vines etc were highly impressed with Coldplay and they wanted them to stay on stage longer than the other acts. Coldplay was the second to last act of the night, Creed was the one who was closing the show. There are stories that the crowd was chanting "Coldplay... Coldplay" when Creed was on stage singing. People left the show because they wanted MORE Coldplay. Well, I must say, I do not blame them at all. God Bless Coldplay for their brillance! :angel: JEN

I saw this episode of "Cribs" on MTV and this one rap guy was showing off his house and he was going through his CD's and he pulls out Coldplay's ROBTH and says, "these are my boys. I love Coldplay!" I was like, "what?" Then my husband tells me that apparently P. Diddy loves them too etc. 8) Jen

Gosh you guys... as much as I want to see them again, this is like the hardest concert to get tickets for. They practically sell out the moment they go on sale. Jen
