Oh my gosh, I LOVE THE BRITS!!! I thought it was super cool that he said if he could marry anyone in the band it would be Johnny! He loves that dude so much. And it's not even like weird or anything. It's just the coolest that they have that closeness.

:) I just got something sent to me from the Doves site and it was for this new album by guy named, "Magnet." The album title is "On Your Side." And guys... I must say... WOW! One review said, "It's like Tom Yorke in a David Lynch movie." I sampled it and I am so tempted to go buy it RIGHT NOW! Look him up! :o

So, I just got this email from Coldplay.com to view the God Put A Smile... video. The shots of the band are NICE... Chris is spectacular! But I think the story around it is confusing. Does anyone get it? I just felt the story around it was sort of dark and I always invisioned the song as happy.

Please tell me you are not referring to the old man next to her that she is apparently with. THAT?????!!!!!! :x Chris honey... you SOOOOO deserve better than that. Truly, I don't want to see Chris hurting over this.

The Doves I was just wondering if any of you listen to The Doves. This is a fantastic band from Britian and their album came out right around the same time as Coldplay's Parachutes did. They didn't seem to get as popular as Coldplay and I have always wondered why because they are just as talented.

I think the reason that Chris gets more attention is because he is the frontman and typically, frontmen get the most attention and they are the ones who usually speak on the bands behalf. Also, as much as I hate to say this, I think also that Chris gets more attention because he is so charasmatic and people are generally drawn to him. I can imagine that the stress of the media always being down your throat is a horrible feeling too. I hear that the media in Britian is much worse than the US. I don't blame him for feeling the way he does. I also think he makes an excellent point of saying he's concerned that people will begin to hate them because they are everywhere. He is smart to be thinking that way. People do tend to start getting annoyed with celebrities that are everywhere.

This is by far the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my life.

my husband loved the performance too. he wasn't jealous. I keep reliving this moment in my head though. :D

When he was smiling at me and singing "Everythings Not Lost" after he threw the bottle my heart I think stopped. My husband behind me was laughing so hard because I was acting like such a teenager. He is absolutely breathtaking... they all were. This is a very good looking band. :-D

Forgive me for sounding rude, but what kind of question is this? :o I mean, Brad Pitt and Ben Affeck are totally different. Chris seems to have more of a depth to him than these two. And I am actually speaking as a Brad Pitt fan (the guy can act). But Chris shouldn't be compared to Gwen's former loves. I truly hope that it works out for Chris and Gwen, mainly for him. He's a quality kind of guy and I would hate to see him get played by someone in Hollywood. She seems like she is pretty grounded though.
