Also, if you've read Bronte's Jane Eyre, you might find Jean Rhys' Wide Sargasso Sea interesting... It's about Bertha Mason, Mr Rochester's crazy wife... In this book, she is depicted as a victim, and Mr Rochester is a jerk! :P

Ahah, but some of Shakespeare's sonnets are literally gay. I wrote a paper on it just last sem! Hehe. Sonnet 18 (the one we studied in Form 5, Lyvie!) is actually addressed to a fair youth, who is a man. Another sonnet which is totally gay is Sonnet 20, which is about the fair youth again. In this sonnet, the persona laments about him, stating that the fair youth must have actually been created a woman, but Mother Nature fancied her so turned her into a man so she can have him... So basically, the persona loves the man, and justifies this love by saying that this man was originally a woman... Gay? Very. I don't know if Shakespeare is gay, but some of his sonnets definitely are. :D Now, onto a more important issue: Is this thread actually about Shakespeare, or is it about drunken rants?

I wish I loved cooking... Unfortunately whenever I cook anything, it ends up tasting like nothing and looking like burnt poo. My hobbies? Drawing, writing, recording songs I've written. And traveling. Although I wish I could travel more. :/
