I was just thinking that myself. It just seems like a DRAMATIC drop off from where the song starts. I guess its possible. I'm still with Locust on this. I guess we'll have to wait and see. That just says the voice Debs has in the coldplay world. she will even make me second guess myself. Yet another reason this album has to leak soon. For my sainity.

Well my favourite album is a rush of blood to the head by far of anything I had ever herd. My humbled opinion is its the best album I've ever herd. Last friday after one listen I can already say I love/will continue to love the songs more than A Rush of Blood. Therefore in way many more words than necessary THIS IS THE BEST ALBUM I HAVE EVER HERD.

I know I shouldn't keep the debate going but I can 100% say it;s not Death and all His Friends. I remember thinking during the listening party the start was so abrupt and was the only intro to a s ong that did not flow from the last song. Death started off alot less soft than this which I'm still 99% sure is Lover's... that 1% of doubt is making me second guess it was strawberry swing I've cancelled out all other possibilities. The Strawberry bass line is alot weirder. And I know for a fact I herd this bass line during the listening party. Sorry to keep the debating going but that is my 2 cents

You're not the only one starting to get too excited. these past few days have been madness for all of us. I think for our own sanity this needs to leak soon. Or else we may go absolutely insane.

Good Luck by the way. If you can do it Kudos to you. I for one am not even going to pretend I would last an hour if I knew it had leaked. Plus I have this feeling itunes will release it early. They have a tendency to do that kind of thing.

Hey hey wait wait wait... I'm sorry if any one else has realized this but... Isn't Japan like 14 hours ahead of us here in North America??? if so wouldn't that mean that if the album doesn't leak we'll still be getting it online June 10th!!!!

1. Yes 2. Viva La Vida 3. Violet Hill 4. Lost 5. Lovers In Japan 6. Life In Technicolor Of the 6 so far that is. Man it's hard to sit there and rank life and lovers so low. Great songs they are! That just says how deep this album is.

DAMN! If only it was on rockband as well! I gave up on the guitar hero world the day I got rockband. The drums would be soooo much fun for Violet Hill

Sadly not. Like I said, they would really let us pick it up. I think if one of us had EMI may have killed us lol The booklet was tucked into it's spot inside the digi pack. I at least had the taste of it most people haven't had. But still at the same time I feel like I'm going through withdrawl just waiting to hear it again lol I'm with you on that one as well. Was very pleased to hear quite a bit of strings through out the record. If I remember correctly Cemeteries, 42, and Strawberry Swing all have some very nice orchestration.

I've personally always liked the album. I mean in comparison to A Rush of Blood it lost it's value. I think that was the problem initially it was compared to there previous work. I think for the most part it was them playing it safe. But in the long run i do like every song on the album just not as much as some of the others on the previous 2 before.

I know it makes me sound terrible but I will download the leak for sure. I mean come June 17th I'll have paid for two formats of the album (itunes & physical CD), hopefully a pair of tickets to both Toronto shows and at those shows I will purchase some form of merchandise . so I feel as if I'll make up for downloading the record earlier than is intended. If not I think the guilt would eat away at me thinking apple and Moses and all the other coldplay babies (including Will's new baby twins) will not have baby food.

Also. Thanks for reading josheox and everyone else for that matter. I had no clue when I first posted my original post that it would have become what it has become. Or even that many people on this forum would trust any word I say. It;s been a very fun few days for us coldplayers I'd say. and we still have anywhere from 15 - 21 days left of fun until it's out everywhere.

It's officially Viva La Vida OR Death and all his Friends. Let's put that baby to rest lol. I love your question by the way. On that first listen it about 46 minutes straight of the hairs on my neck raised and just pure bliss. It's so hard to pick specific moments that grabbed certain emotions because it all just happened so fast. There really is alot going on during the course of the album that will tug at many of our emotions. I think on many of our first listens the instrumental portions of songs will take first notice because they are just all this different step forward direction. Then on the secondary and future listens the lyrics come. I was sitting around on my lunch break from work today really thinking about just how pleased I am that the boys decided to takes things forward in so many different directions. They could have stayed the course and gave us something we'd already liked but instead decided to take this giant leap and go where Coldplay has never gone before. And they are better for it (not to take away from all the brilliance that the first 3 albums have been). Different but still the same band we fell in love with 7 or 8 years ago. Depending on if your from North America or the UK that is (or even later; thats ok to late comers are welcome). Hope that at least shed some light and semi-answered your question, if not we'll talk after we've both herd it a few times.
