French was the official language there for about 200 years, i don't know exactly, it's only a theory, but we have the same word in French "moustache" (only the pronunciation is different), so it may come from another language, and they kept that one for "moustache" and their own for "eyebrow"... otherwise the questions actually make u think (not that i never think the rest of the time), when will u start giving us the answers ? :stunned:

what happened to your friendship? do u live far from each other ?

i think education is very important to anyone, but you shouldn't understand education as school, there are so many ways to get "educated". anyway, i graduated and went to university, because the job i wanted to do (and am now doing, which is being a teacher) required it. and i don't regret it for a second! i love learning, and still do it when i have time, even if i don't "need" to, no exams any more !! just for plesure :D

no limit for (real) friends... would go as far as they'd need me to...

oui Coldplay passe pas mal à la radio en France (enfin tt dépend de la radio...) mais l'album a bien marché. sinon c 'est clair qu ils ont le plus de fans en angleterre, j etais la bas quand ils ont sorti le premier album, ils sont arrivés en france que quelques mois apres... :/

les NRJ machin choses... BEURK j ai regardé ke pour coldplay également, mais pa du début... je me doutais kils passeraient ke vers la fin, mais honnetement, ce fut un calvaire ! heureusement ke Chris é venu égayer la soirée ... :confused:

salut tout le monde, bien longtps que je suis pas venue, alors j ai lu que les trois dernieres pages ! moi aussi j etais a lyon, premier rang, mais tout a droite, j ai posté ds la rubrique live, mais bon rien de bien nouveau, a part ke c t trop bien :-) et ke chris é trop mignon qd il parle francais !! sinon j ai vu les posts de certains sur leur cours a la fac, moi ca me manque tellement j ai repris le programme de l agreg :o faudra bien la tenter un jour :)

yes, it was really great, althoug a bit short ... I was in the first row, on the right, so, I couldn't see the whole stage, but most of it. I loved the bit when they were playing acoustic, close together, Chris was amazing, his French was quite funny, as usual, well, he obviously lied when he came to present Goldfrapp, saying it was the best group in the world in French, but still it is so rare that an artist comes to present himself the group playing before !! The songs were good, obviously :) even if Chris forgot the lyrics twice, i think it was on Trouble ? , the sound great. it was on the whole another great gig from Coldplay ! twice in Paris, once in Lyon, i'd love to see them play in England really, although Chris really does sound cute when he speaks French !

et oui, la reprise du travail, et on a moins le tps de se balader sur internet :o sinon moi j aime bien ecouter n importe quel anglophone parler anglais, c pa spécialement les mecs!! bon ok, les mecs c encore plus mingon :D

hey, u french guys, i hope u didn't miss "the guignoles" this week about zidane's come back ... really funny, there was a part about hearing voices at night... anyway, this is rather a matter of group, all the players are quite good individually, u can't deny this, and even if i'm not a zidane fan, u have to admit he's a great player (what a technique...) but he isn't the team by himself...

i really enjoyed Depp's performance, and the film as a whole, i've always loved this book, i read it in french as a girl, re-read it in english a few years ago, i found the film pretty faithful to the book, and the actors were pretty good as well, a real treat!

i actually nearly cried as well, when i think i'll have to wait another 2 years at least! and i was expecting a return of serius from the dead... with the end of the book i'm twice as much disappointed ! why is it always my favourite characters who die ?? but still i enjoyed the book, read it iin two days.
