Ok, so I just do a random search to keep tabs on Radiohead in the album charts and the top result is about EMI going into meltdown for real this time? Zuh? I mean I was expecting something like that eventually... but seriously... like falling into a pothole that you were looking for but didn't see. Still shook up.

I've been saying for years that the internet would be the death of the music industry as we know it...but maybe that's not a bad thing. Even if you get the big deal with the big advance, most bands don't see the majority of the profits. Without the major labels, good musicians could end up on an even playing feild. It could delay the new album, but not for long. The end result will be more bands doing things like RAdiohead on their own terms, and without a bunch of suits in the studio. The music can only be better for that. It sucks right now, but take the long view, it's not so bad.:)

What I was thinking - Well, I watched Chomsky on YouHooTube, and had about the same feelings as I did about 9-11-01. Still things to explain, but our President's too dumb to have been involved in a conspiracy plot that thick.

Then I watched footage of the twin towers, and I'm still felling a little sick to my stomach from seeing it all again..:dozey: Oh well, thank goodness we can get past the misery of the past, and feel OK again!

I did meet someone while on vacation down in Hot Springs, AK, who had the good fortune of running away from the falling building & surviving all the falling glass, etc.- he had too many nightmares & had to get out of NY - just too much for him too, but he's feeling fine now.

Well, that's what's on my mind..
