Boohbah

Yes, Boohbah, the UK kids tv "learning" show. From the guy who bought you teletubbies.

If you haven't seen it already (I have to watch it as I have young nephews) it about (how do I explain this monster?) 5 alien type things from outerspace, all different colours do weird dance rituals at the instructions of kid voice overs. It is meant to be a learning program but I have found that it's even more hard to 'get' then teletubbies as it makes kids learn backwards!

Most of all THEIR EYES ARE SCARY!

At least with this other UK "learning" maths show the kids learn something.

Has any one else seen this nightmare?

I have :stunned: They are seriously freaky!

The kids I babysit have the dolls. The blue one freaks me out the most :stunned: :stunned: :stunned:

They are the most fuked up childrens' toys ever!

AND I MEAN EVER! :stunned:

Seriously! And those noises they make when you squeeze their hands! :stunned: and the eyes moving! :/ :stunned:

:stunned: *faints*

My cousin has a pink one haha. I mean, who came up with these things? Its obviously someone who has a vendetta against children! :o

  I know. First time I saw them was in boots and I had no idea what they were so me and my friends started messing with them and all of a sudden these eyes just started slowly moving and then they made like a sneezing noise and their heads sunk :stunned: :stunned: We were completely freaked out! So I wonder how kids aren't as scared as we are!

I know! My friend brought hers into school quite a while ago and i couldnt look at it! hahaha

Kids seem to love stuff like that. Yeah, i agree the eyes are really freaky! Why cant our children of today go for more friendly toys like the Tweenie gang? :idea2:

and for anyone who doesn't know what they are or why we think they're scary then feast your eyes on this! :stunned: bbstsc.jpg

I know! I got a giggle from making them dance :stunned:

Boohbah? :/

Ok that thing looks like a dyed marshmallow with eyes...

Yes, call it anything but a learning program for children. :P

Those who have seen the toys, wait still you see the program, you can't miss the bit at the beginning (it's on every...single...episode) where they are dancing doing their own thing in front of the camera and one by one the voice over kid calls out whatever godawful name they have, stops dancing, eyebrow lights thing on it's head, eyes move from right to left and stops to look at the camera then waits in line like a cadet!

Now that's scary!
