I have to say that Mr Champion did a fantastic job on Violet Hill

 

Can you explain what's fantastic about the drums on violet hill ?

i think it has a really strong beat - the bbc review says the song is built around the drum's "tribal beat" - i dunno enough abt tribal music to know really what that means, but i think Will's drumming is, as always, solid, which is a great part of what a drummer should bring to his band, don't ya think?
