Everyone should check out this band from texas. Their name is pilotdrift. Their website is http://www.pilotdrift.com . They are starting to get some big attention in Texas and the surrounding states. They have been described as art rock but noone can really tell what the music is like because it is so original. trust me you won't be let down. ive seen them twice and their live show is even more amazing than their album which is brilliant.

can someone say simon and garfunkel? i wouldn't categorize it as rock, but i'd download the album.

really? I have never thought about simon and garfunkel. thats interesting. i think they have sounds of queen sometimes and at others flaming lips, even radiohead which i hate comparing any band to radiohead, but any way keep listening to them.

No im not in the band. I live in Dallas and i think pilotdrift is from a town called Texarkana. There has just been a lot of talk about them, so i went to see them live and was blown away. By the way, coldplay is one of my favorite bands.

I've got to say I think they sound more like Simon and Garfunkel than any of the other bands mentioned. "Sails" has a little Flaming Lips in it, I guess.

 

It's all right. I'm not going to rush out and buy the album, though.
