so.. they cancelled the second concert in Mexico city! and everybody is sad and angry, just for say something.. the only "good" thing is, as I didnt win tickets for today, I´m not that dissapointed. hehe... but is a shame, reallly...

from what I know.. his dad traveled a lot for work, and thats how he ended up in Mexico.. he really liked it there.. :)

 

now I feel bad for you guys, a show was cancelled and a show just got added for us in NY!!! :D I am going to Interpol Weekend!!!! woohoo!

 

Two days back to back!!! :D this is the best day ever!!!

I went there for nothing!...Im just soooooooo sad...I almost die in there...everybody were pushing jumping bouncing...I couldnt breath...I almost faint...my friend had to grab me so we could get out of the crowd!...I couldnt walk...I had to get out for a while of the concert...I was so disapointed I was there so close...:cry: I cant believe...I still cant believe it!...

 

 

after the gig I went to "Coyoacan" I knew Interpol werent gonna be in the afterparty at the time...so I went with some friends to get drunk in some bar and then we went to Pasagüero...they were there but I was so pissed off and dissapointed so I could slap Paul in his face!...he could have done something...he could said "hey calm down"...but no...I hadnt the strength to say something to them...I could cry like a child cause I miss something I really want it to be a great experience......the bloody bastards were delayed hour or more...I was fucking weak...Im still sad...so sad! :(

After I downloaded a few song that I like, I bought their album 'Antics'. It's amazing. :smug:

Joyce, sorry to hear about that.. but, well, here in Mexico city the people tend to act like that in a concert... I had a similar experience but in this case, is not the blame of the band and not of all the people who was there..

Interpol were late because all the people was out (I was listening the radio)... so, that was actually a nice gesture of the band, to wait till everybody are inside to start the show... :cool:

 

I dont know what I can tell you, I should tell you this before, but the thing is: never, for no reason, try to be very close of the stage in a concert without number tickets (boletos numerados, dios, no se como se escribe!) here.... is always better be a little bit far but safe... :/

 

and about the pasaguero.. is a shame you didnt talk with them.. they were there and apparentely, where very nice with everybody, I wish I would be there, but I couldnt make it.. :cry:

and I dont think is their fault about the security conditions... I mean, that always happen, even in concerts like the Coldplay one... so, they probably just saw happy people jumping, as the lights on the stage are too bright and the bands normally just can see three or four roads of people..no more.

 

I´m really sorry to hear about your experience, but well, is not rare for me... I dont know, probably is because we dont have concerts of big bands very often.. or, I dont know. but I hope you can feel better now!! :)

 

at least, you have the chance to fly and see them in new york... a new date is open, and I will not be there... again.. :cry:

I went last monday 5th...we were doing this 2 hours line I was like in 4 row...If I can call that rows!... :confused: ...Interpol were late like an hour and a half...I had a leg with an injury...you dont have idea how much it cost me to go to mexico with my leg like that...beside my mom didnt want me to let go...I cried since friday nite...saturday morning...saturday nite...so she could see I was longing long time ago for INTERPOL in mex...finally I got to go....

 

at first I was fine...but then being waiting in the crowd was disgusting...Im not used to this kind of shows...

 

the lights turn off...Interpol on stage and the crowd became a HYSTERIA...pushing so hard...my leg hurting...my friend almost crying...I couldn´t breath no more...I had to get out of there...from being in 4 row...I went to the last... :cry: I coudnt belive what was happening...I WENT THERE JUST TO SEE 3 SHADOWS!?!?!?!?!?... Ana my friend and I were like stunned...so stunned...anyway I start to drink at the show...I was so pissed off...Interpol mean so much to me...and I was like blank...I couldnt see pauls face...daniels moves...carlos diva attitude...sam and blasco...I just I DIDNT SEE THEM!!!!!!

 

can you undestand my anger!?!?!?!...I could still cry telling you this!... :cry: ...still hurts inside...

 

 

I have some parts of the gig in my cellphone!...is the only memory I got!

after the gig I went to coyoacan as I said I got mooooooore drunk that I was...ha...my friends didnt want me to see me sad...ha...we went to Pasagüero...I just stayed there seated...I couldnt move...my leg hurted like hell...I did saw them...Ana and Juan got to talk with them cause I wasnt in conditions to talk...ha...I regret so much...I ended up scrubing the nite...If I would had have Paul in front of me...I could have a collapse...or cry without saying a word...or just slap him...as I said!...=P

well, let me tell you almost the same happened to me at the first COldplay concert in Mexico, I bought tickets for the two days, but the first one I was alone, and I went very early because I said: I want to see everything!! :idea2: Just after I get to the subway station, the rain starts to fall in a very bad way, so, I get into the venue all wet, but I was in a good place... after all the push and the injuries, I finished at the third song (and it was Trouble,my favorite at that moment) praying to the poeple to let me out of there!!! I was so angry and with scratches all over my body that I just decided was enough and I was just to leave the venue and go home but I said:I wait too much for this!! so, I just relax, take a soda, and enjoy the concert at the back... The second day was a better organization and I was with a friend, who received all the injuries for me, as he hug me to avoid the pushes (he´s a sunshine really! :D ) but, yeah, I know how is taht...

 

 

well, the point is I really really really really sorry!! :embarrased: I mean, it wasnt my fault, hehe.. but, I just hope your leg is better now, and that you can go to new york and to see them... maybe even you can talk with them!! :idea2:
