They were sooo awesome yesterday. Except they didn't sing Leif Erikson. It's okay though because we got two encores and he sang Specialist again! Whoo hoo! Favorite song of the night was definitely Roland. He also sang A Time to Be So Small which is my favorite off of Antics. Boom Bip, the openers were pretty cool too.

 

Damn those one-time use cameras. The pictures usually turn out farther than where you actually were.

Hey all!

 

I just recently got into Interpol....I heard of their name before...but never really listened to them. So I've heard two of their songs and I want to listen to more before I go out and buy their CD....just incase it turns out (for some odd reason) that I don't really like the rest of their songs...who knows...

I've heard NYC and PDA...so anyone got any other suggestions as to what songs I should listen to? :D

Obstacle 1 (from the first album of course.. ) and from the second... Take You On A Cruise, C'Mere, Slow Hands, NARC... man, the whole album is great!!! Just get it!

Interpol is in Mexico... I wanted to be an stalker,but, it seems impossible!! :/

 

and it was my first time! hehe.. I never did that... I mean, being in the hotel or waiting on the airport, but I wanted to do that now :blush:

The guys were great! I sat on the side where Carlos played, and every once in awhile he was just look out into the crowd and has this very adorable smile. At the end of the concert, Sam gave a fan his drumsticks and Paul said "at that is Sam Fargarino" and they hugged and laughed while they walked off stage. Those boys are so charming.

:blush: aww they must be so happy!!! The end of this tour is coming close.. and I can only imagine how pumped they'll be on Sunday (for the finale 10/2) *screams like a little girl* :D

 

They must be looking forward to just relaxing and taking it easy for a bit...

So you're going to the final night of tour. How lucky! What song are you hoping that they'll play? Maybe they'll finally play The New.

^ thats what I am hoping.. since they've been playing frequently at soundchecks.. *crosses fingers* I've Leif already once.. at Jones Beach but I wouldn't mind hearing it again.. :blush: and I am dying to hear Untitled... :blush:

I just got back from a bar where the band tonight was an interpol cover band. they were horrendous. but the beer helped, let me tell ya.

I actually have no idea what they were called. They started off by playing "Evil" and I was like, "my...this sounds familiar" and then they did "Obstacle 1" and I cried. hahaha..just kidding. But they were pretty bad. The guy who I'm assuming was the "Paul Banks" was just terrible!
