True story..

 

A woman in my office says she bought this 'apple' at the market yesterday.. and its called a 'Grapple'. It looks like an apple.. but smells like a grape flavored candy pop! :stunned: I wouldnt have believed it my self.. but she brought it in, and I have indeed sniffed it.. smells like a scratch and sniff grape!

 

what weird freak of nature do you think caused this weird fruit fusion... she's going to let me have a taste later.. so I'll let you know how it tastes.. but have any of you ever heard of such a thing?

Ok so I just tasted the 'grapple'.. and it was quite tastey... :)

 

It was very juicy and tasted like a regular apple with a hint of grape.. almost like grape juice!

I felt fine after eating the fruit... even though it was 'artificially flavored fruit' which even sounds weird to type or even say... but I agree.. they should leave the stuff alone..

i don't have any idea where you guys got the idea that the grapple is genetically modified in any way. it's just an apple soaked in grape juice, basically. :confused:
